I wasn't expecting much after I opened the package because it looked big. I was pleasantly surprised! There was no foul odor, more like a faded "new car smell", and It feels like a corset made from cloth that flexes with me - it slipped on easily over my hips, stays put, and I immediately started to feel some sweat but I'm very comfortable. I went with an XL being 5'2 and 150 lbs, with most of my fat being in my stomach (about 32in waist) and big hips (~41in)..

It may be the most inexpensive waist trainer, but it works. You may not have all the bells and whistles, like a zipper ect.. I've used it before and after using it for a few months it really did slim my waistline. I've also learned that they do run small and never put them in a hot clothes dryer. Either hang dry or tumble on cool setting.

Product is as described minus the sizing chart. My measurements are on the upper end of the XL measurements provided. So I ordered and XL and it was too large. Other than that the product is effective and a good value. It is not a top of the line product but worth the money you pay for it. I will be ordering a smaller size.

I wanna start by saying I like the product however I’ve just had it for a couple of days and just got to wearing it. My main problem is comfortability when putting it on is difficult. It’s made tight which is good but it’s a pain putting on and taking off. It does roll down on me under my chest but that’s probably because of how my weight is. I will update probably in a month to see if things work out!

First, I must state that I did not buy this for nor am I reviewing it as a shaper or spot reducer. This is used to keep my back warm for those very early morning(late night) workouts with weights or the rower. My old back does not always wake up as fast as my head and this is great for keeping warmth on the area. It is also very useful for adding warmth to the back if you have stiffness. I deliberately bought this style as opposed to the Velcro wrap around styles because the Velcro ultimately gives out and starts slipping or even coming loose in the middle of a row piece.Sizing- I measured on the very high end of the XL and went with that size. In hindsight, I think I could go down a size and still have a good fit and additional support. All in all a reasonable size chart provided by the seller. Shape- yes this is designed for a female torso but for my uses I don't care or even notice once it is on. Great value.

Absolutely the worst! It's extremely the lowest quality of neoprene fabric. Looking at the model the shaper looks like it's wide enough to go under you breast and cover your belly button to the hip bone. It doesn't. It's more like a band than a shaper. Horrible. Terrible. Sending it back or putting it in the garbage.

I was recommended one of these by a friend who is experiencing successful weight loss to give her work outs and extra kick. I wear this while working, walking, doing everyday chores and errands. I got an XL but the L would have been fine as I feel they run a little on the bigger side. But being my first time wearing something like this, I am glad of my size choice to help me get used to it. I do have a slight swish swish sound on some of my tighter fitting clothes due to the material rubbing, but not too bad or noticeable. It is easy to put on and off and wash. I highly recommend this shaper to anyone wanting to give a boost to their weight loss. I had no idea I was even sweating under this thing! Awesome product.

Does what it is supposed to. I would not recommend because my abdominal area itches like crazy after I take it off.. The sweat didn't absorb into the outer layer like it says it does. The sweat just pooled and then leaked out when you sit down.
