I stopped buying in small supply years ago... it takes me 10 years to use this much soda up... but the value is in the savings. Love soda in bulk and the ability to get some more when needed. Fresh smelling and functions as expected. I never had soda go bad... since it is mined anyway...

I use it for laundry and cleaning around the hose and this will last all year.

I read a DIY article on how to dry out dog poop, make it easier to dry out and pick up, plus limit flys. I used this along with 15 drops of peppermint oil and went out and spread over all dog poop in my back yard. Poop dried up within 24 hours, flys were minimal, yard no longer smelled, and the bonus was my large breed Boxers avoided stepping in the poop and didn't try to lick or eat the sodium bicarbonate peppermint oil combo. They smelled it and promptly walked away! Made it SO much easier to pickup the large dog poop, even loose stools/diarrhea! Infact, I put the powder combo on the dog poop and didn't expect it to rain overnight. Since the sunlight hit it all day, and I planned to pick up the dog poop the next morning, the dog poop was still dried out, the rain didn't reverse the effects of the powder combo! HIGHLY recommended for this purpose!!

I use it in my bathwater so I don't know how to rate it I don't cook with it it soaks up oil off the garage floor real well doesn't clump stays powder but takes the oil off
