Great kitchen tool
I made a chicken curry in this and it was devine. Very moist and flavors stay in pot with this domed lid keeping all the flavors in. It is also just beautiful sitting on my stove. Great for stews and soups. Can feed 4 easily.

Stunning Piece of Kitchenware!
Wow! Can't say enough about this stunning Tagine! I bought two for gifts and the recipients absolutely love them. It is not easy to get a well made tagine for this price. It was sent in quality packaging and arrived in perfect condition. The size was just right - not too big and not too small! The tagine is beautiful and will add to the look of your kitchen if left on the stove.

Sturdy and attractive.
Perfect size for 2-6 portions. I like the cast iron bottom. No worries about leaded glazes. I bought a tagine cookbook and have already replicated a tagine we had in Morocco. A Dutch oven would have worked as well, but an authentic tagine makes the meal special.

Excellent quality
This is a very nice/high quality cooking vessel at a reasonable price. Unfortunately the base is not enameled so using it on my glass cooktop is a non starter. If/when I convert to a gas cooktop I will definitely reorder this tagine.

Wonderful multipurpose cookware !
What a winner ! Have always wanted a tagine. and the reviews finally convinced me to pull the trigger. I like the idea of trying out Moroccan style cooking and also being able to use for other cooking purposes. Today I made a dish to die for: first I caramelized acorn squash and removed them from the cast iron pan; sautéed onions and balsamic tritips (Trader Joe’s), finally added a layer of fresh spinach and tomatoes, and returned the acorn squash on top. Covered and lowered the heat and left on the stovetop for another 15 minutes. Served with couscous. And enjoyed a meal that I would proudly serve to company. All this to say: what an easy way to serve 1 “pot” meals. The quality of this product is great! Mil gracias !!! ♥️♥️♥️

This pretty much stays on my kitchen bench when it isn't actually in use just because it is so pretty. I've used this on the cooktop and in the oven. I love it.

I bought the Kook Tagine because of its cast iron base and I have an induction stove. I was pretty chuffed to see the tagine work as promised, ie, the steam really does condense at the top of the conical cover and then flow down the sides of the cover back into the Tagine IF: (1) you don't put in too much water (I put in 200ml of stock in the recipe). (2) you turn the heat to low. My induction stove has 1 - 9 (low to high). I put it at 3. Thereafter the lamb shank cooked for 3 hours without my having to top up the liquids. I also browned the lamb shanks and caramelised the onions in the cast iron tagine - in other words I did all the frying and browning and stewing in the tagine. It worked fine.
