However, I do believe that you can purchase a separate scoring blade to switch out with the blade that comes with this trimmer. I do suggest the Martha Stewart Scoring Board. I often craft and everyone of my crafting buddies seem to love the scoring board more than they do the "scoring blade" on any trimmer. **Q: Would this be easy for cutting 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper in half?** A: Most definitely!
