My next question (since my FIRST was the same as OP's, here) would be back to Kreg support comedian: if the answer is yes (thank you Scott, by the way, for simply answering the question), my next query would be, "how"? Ive read several answers to other questions here, describing the unit as a melamine-laminated piece of inch-thick mdf. Fair enough. My concern would be all the "steel struts" the product description speaks of. Surely, those would pose SOME flavor of an issue with the cutting? I mean, if I have permission to build my ladder from hammers, it seems only fair you'd warn me if there are rubber mallets hidden in the mix, yeah?
