Picking the correct sensor for the location
Worked as it should. I’m not an appliance repair man but a few things I noticed that might help the next person. LG dryer with a concern of won’t start but will turn on. Diagnostic mode indicated a temp sensor. This one is located on the back of the fan housing. There are 2 more on the heating element housing. If you take a digital voltmeter and put a probe on each terminal of the sensor you should see a resistance or continuity mine read open. I mention this because if you don’t check the sensors you could easily order the 3 pack kit that doesn’t have this sensor and you will still have a concern. The other sensors had continuity.

This is not the thermostat
this is the high limit switch not the thermostat if you install this in place of the thermostat you dryer will overheat !!!
