it just tastes like sugar. I tried making cakes and cookies over the holidays with this Chestnut Cream. I was so excited to try it. But actually it just tastes like sugar - no Chestnut taste. I was no disappointed.

This is the chestnut spread used all over France to spread on bread, in crepes, etc. It is the original and the best. I add it (about 2 tablespoons) to a basic vanilla pudding (just milk, sugar, vanilla and cornstarch to thicken) and add at the end, incorporating with a whisk. It tastes just like the classic Mont Blanc pudding! Cut back on the sugar in your pudding recipe, as this paste has a lot of sugar also.

I purchased the product because people raved about it. The product is good and the packaging is so cute but idk if I would buy again and if I do it would be because of the aesthetic of the product.

If you've never tried Crème de Marrons, do yourself a favor and buy a tube (or twenty). I grew up on these and haven't found a better crème de marrons yet, even though I've tried a dozen of other brands. This one is smooth, with a hint of vanilla. It's delicious mixed with yogurt, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream or just straight from the tube. Enjoy!

If you grew up in Europe then you know how delicious this is. You can put it on toast and ice cream, but honestly I just squeeze it directly into my mouth. Wish the tubes were bigger and less expensive. If it was more affordable, would buy it all the time.

Not sure exactly what I expected, but I saw something about this on TV where people were saying it made the perfect snack with toast. Not for me. I found it flavorless, just slightly sweet and pasty. Stick with Nutella on your toast.
