I didn't use it for solar, but worked well on my lawn mower equipment. Thick wire and connected easy like it should.

Solid, I cut in half and matched them together to use as quick detach on a pump. Good so far. Nice wire quality

Probably not for higher current applications (caution)
I have bought a couple of these and was generally pleased. I run them on a 55 lb thrust Minn Kota Trolling motor which is rated at 50 amp max. During a recent outing I trolled more than normal when I noticed smoke coming from the connector. Since the product doesnโt seem to give an amp rating I wasnโt aware this could be a problem. I tried to release the connection but the connector and wire burn my hand but I was able to unhook it from the battery before it caused a fire. So Iโm not sure what size trolling motor this will work with but a 55 lb thrust used for long periods of time seem to be more than is safe for this connector. Also please use a circuit beaker with a trolling motor. If you have a short circuit a fire is definitely a possibility without something to break the circuit. Be safe and learn from my mistake.

I use this as an extension for an air pump.
My air pump was limited by the cord that it came with. This was the perfect length for allowing me to reach my trailer tires. The wires feel high quality and the connections function smoothly. Great value for my money.

Not just useful for charger extensions!
This extension cable is good for uses not just to add length to a charger. We have some battery powered toy vehicles with aftermarket batteries in them. With this cable, cut in half and correctly spliced into the harness of the vehicle and the battery, will create an excellent, easy to plug-in and un-plug connection point for the toys. Rated at 30 amps, they take everything the little motors can throw at them in stride. Will buy again if we need to set up another vehicle!
