What is the origin of this wood? from Japan?

I’m not sure but mine has a few wood knots on it which creates cracks in the wood.

Nicely made neck support

This is very nice, lightweight, good smell, I use it occasionally under my neck when lying on the floor and also a bit as lumbar support when sitting in a chair. It is small, so worth checking the dimensions before you buy.
