For the price are you getting gouged for a basic lamp? Yes, yes you are. But is it worth it in the long run for the joy it brings? Absolutely. Bought this lamp for my mother who lives alone so we could have a little reminder of each other's presence and it ended up being one of the best, most delightful things for both of us. Fast forward 3 years and I've bought lamps for several other family members and it brings us all such joy! I know it's a simple lamp that just changes colors but that simple reminder of the other people who have the lamp is really joyful and makes us all feel more connected. I will say that the set up is kinda confusing especially for not tech-savvy folks with the app and website but we fumbled through it. Overall, just get the lamp. You will not regret it.

Recently purchased a set of these lamps for myself & a long distance friend. Very cool. Touch yours & theirs lights up, so they know you're thinking about them. Connects via Bluetooth connection to WIFI, so everyone needs to have internet. It took me a little bit to get it going, so if you have someone on the other end who isn't tech saavy, be prepared to help or to talk them through it on Facetime. It's a great gift concept, especially if you have people in your life that are hard to buy for. What's not to love, to know someone is thinking about you! If I still had parents, I'd be buying it for them, but anyone will love this. The lamps are a little pricey, but the concept is so cool.

Bought this to keep in touch with my nieces who live across the country. We all love this. We facetime while tapping and the change is instant which is crazy for being thousands of miles away. So fun to get into a tap/coloring changing war

Friendship lamps were exactly as described. They arrived very quickly and in great condition. Our daughter is going off to college and will be 1000 miles away from home. This is a simple yet beautiful way for our family to stay connected. Highly recommended!

Concept is great. Got the 2 pack. The lamps both turn on when plugged in, but one charging cord doesn’t work and the lamps won’t connect to the app.
