Works great! Color blind beware.
Easily installed! My truck is a tight fit in the garage so this make its easy to pull in. If you are color blind the orange and red lights can look very similar so be careful.

Effective parking aid.
Product works great to prevent me from bumping the garage wall in front of my car! The device lights up green as you approach slowly, turns yellow the closer you get, and then finally turns red when you are at your preset place. I tried four brand new Duracell double A batteries in the device initially, but they barely lasted 2 weeks. The device eats a lot of energy battery wise, so I would suggest you plug it into the wall by way of the USB port on the side. This way, you will never have to worry about changing batteries every few weeks. By the way, the device does not come with a USB cord or charging block so you will have to provide your own separately. I have several of these laying around my house so this is not a problem for me. But just be mindful that if you buy this device, you will certainly need to plug it into the wall if you drive every day.

Worked for a few weeks…just past the return window.
As with other customers, this product stopped working after a few weeks. I missed the return window. Update*** I have to update my review from 1 star to 5 stars. As I said, it stopped working in a few weeks. My husband emailed their customer service. They were wonderful. My husband sent pictures of where we had located the sensor. Customer service suggested we move it a few inches as something might have been blocking the signal. Sure enough, it has been working ever since. I give this product 5 stars not only for a cool little gadget, but also because of their excellent customer service dept. who responded so quickly.

Will not work with 20 watt 3 amp charger and requires USB C Cable
Works fine once you crack the secret USB code. Knocked off a star for two reasons. First, the white version works between 1' and 4', not 6" and 6' as the primary description says. I note that if you scroll all the way down to the product description AFTER you select the white color the last sentence of the product description is correct. The 4' would have worked for me, but when I plugged it into the USB cable and wall charger, it did not work. Tried different chargers, all 5V 3amp, and multiple cables, still did not work (and all charged my phone). Sent it back and ordered the black version, assuming it was actually the 6"-6' range, which it is and that worked a little better for me. USB port did not work. Figured two non-functioning USBs was unlikely and although it made no sense to me I scrounged around and found an old Apple USB A cube - 5V 1amp output just to give it a shot. That worked, unfortunately I didn't have a USB A to USB C cable longer than 12". The product description says that it works with a "Standard USB Cable". There is no such thing. There are USB A, B, C, Micro, Mini, maybe more. There is also no such thing as a Standard wall charger. Why it doesn't work with a 3amp charger makes sense to me, but it doesn't. Ordering the adapter for my longer C to C cable was no big geal, but the trip to Kohls for an unnecessary return was a nuisance that could have been resolved with one correct sentence in the description: "Works with USB C cable and 5 volt 1 amp charger".

Takes the guesswork out of when to stop.
We bought this parking sensor aid for my 80 year old mother (who still is healthy and a good driver) to pull her car into the garage. The directions were clear to follow and we set it up in just one minute. The only problem you would have is if there isn't an outlet nearby to plug it in. It's not very big and doesn't take up much room but It lights up brightly and is very visible. The yellow light lets you know that you are near and when it turns red it is time to stop. We've had this item for a few months now and it works great. We were recommended this item from a family member who has had it for 2 years so it seems like it works for a long time and worth the money.

Convenient. Easy Install. 2 Months in, and going strong...
I was hesitant buying this after reading some reviews. But at the price, it was definitely worth the try. And, the price really is what makes this a good choice. I'm not sure how varied the products is going out, but my unit has worked great for going on 2 months now. I have been running on the supplied batteries the whole time. I'm going in and out at least twice a day. For the price, this beats almost all the options out there. PROS: What I like most about this over almost any other solution is that it doesn't rely on you hitting your parking spot at a consistent place -- like a laser on the dash, or some other spot. I can come in at almost any position and it's just going to register off the grill of my car. It doesn't require a tennis ball hanging from your garage ceiling, and doesn't leave parking blocks on the floor that get in the way. The position registration is consistent and repeatable. When I set it up, I wanted about 6 inches of gap between the bench at the back of my garage. I parked, pressed the button to set the distance, and it is spot on every time. It detects the vehicle about 4-5 ft away, and the goes to red almost exactly 6 inches away. I actually like that it's battery powered. I can undertsand if the battery was draining after a few weeks, or maybe a month. But for me, it's been going strong for almost two months now. If I have to change it every two months, that's not a problem. I'm also going to try with some rechargeables when it does finally go out. I would consider a plug in USB, but it's in a place I don't want wires coming in from. I'd also consider a USB bank, which I might also try. CONS: If you're working in the spot you park, it's going to go on and off. That might drain the battery, but I 3D printed a cover that goes over the sensor, and that stops it from happening. This is far better than having a tennis ball hitting your head, or floor stops you might trip over over and have to reposition. About the only other problem I've had is that the adhesive came off once, but that's because I have it on a narrow vertical rail on a shelf. But this is easily fixed with a screw plate, or zip ties. Overall, it's been about the best solution for me in my garage. Convenient. Easy Install.

Works fairly well for cars, other things not so much.
Well, it works. But its design is pretty focused in the sense it really is only looking for a pinpoint on your vehicle and not taking a bigger picture. By that I mean if all you are trying to do is keep your car from hitting the back wall of your garage, all you have to really do is make sure that the eye is pointed exactly at the furthest extended part of the bumper, or whatever is likely to hit the wall first. I thought I would try this with my twin engine boat as I back it into my warehouse. I really needed to have the eye focused on one of the engines as that is the most rearward part of the boat. However the cable from the eye to the light is not long enough to see the motor and allow me to see the light through the mirror. I had to move the eye to look at the transom so I can see the light illuminate. Understandably I didn't expect it to turn red before the motors hit so I had hoped that just by seeing it turned green I knew I was in the ballpark. Problem is it is not very sensitive as to the beginning of the approach. Sometimes it took an extra foot before the green light came on and other times it came on early. It also seems that the yellow distance as well as the red distance is variable by a good bit sometimes. That all said, I know this is not the intended use exactly but if the cable was only longer that would be a huge help for those who would like to use this for something other than a car. Plus I don't think it is extremely accurate. Probably will be just fine for a regular car and a regular garage as long as you approach slowly.

Stop! Safe!
This unit does exactly as advertised. We are powering it from a old moble phone 5V mains power pack and it performs perfectly - Stop on RED and no more risk of collision with the garage wall. Highly recommended!

Cumple muy bien
Le dí cuatro estrellas porque ocupa 4 pilas AA y las baterías le duraron solo 3 semanas. Veré si mejor lo conecto con el USB.
