Tangent T1 Mallet Golf Putters, Right and Left Handed

Ordered this and the blade style putters together to try out. I’ve always used a blade putter but have had a nasty habit of leaving putts short. Never used a “mallet” style putter before. Tried both briefly on the practice green before a round and decided to go with the heavier mallet that day. Fell in love with it. Gives great alignment assistance, and nice heavy feeling head weight. Didn’t leave putts short that day and my next round I sank a 27 foot right breaking putt for a birdie on hole number 1. Love the fact that it has the insert in the face which gives a soft, buttery feel to your putts while still having the head weight give the solid feel of contact I’ve been looking for. Perfect compliment to my new to me Callaway irons. Nothing wrong with the matching blade style putter either, it’s going in my spare set of clubs for when my out of state buddy comes and we get to go out and play. The red color is also very striking and attractive, and the fact that both putters came with a protective head cover is a bonus. Both are great values…just depends on personal preference as to which one fits your game the best. Dont sleep on Orlimar products. Great equipment at value prices. Excellent putter at a fraction of the price. I tested several expensive clubs and see little difference in quality. Unless you are the local club Pro, this club is fine. Very solid and attractive. I have played about ten rounds since purchase and my putting has definitely improved. I am spot on with longer putts. I never "bounce" on longer hits and my swing feels smooth. Good balance and weight. Grip is secure and right for an average size hand. Very satisfied with my purchase.

This is a good little putter. It’s a little light but has pretty good feel. The grip is good but I’m going to try a fatter grip on it. Well worth the money.

I used this Orlimar Tangent T1 putter for the first time today for an 18 hole game of golf. I brought my usual more expensive putter along also just in case the Orlimar failed me. I found this Orlimar putter to be very accurate. I like its feel and looks. The grip could be a little wider but the one it has is fine after you get used to it. It turned to be very easy to handle and very accurate. I used it for the entire 18 holes. I made a few putts. The others were close misses. I like that I can just scoop the ball up from the cup or ground and avoid bending down with my bad back. This is a great putter at a great price. I highly recommend it. I have a few other Orlimar clubs and I find them to be well made , accurate and affordable. Great putter. Good price. Get one. P .S. I used this putter a second time today. I have to reiterate. I find this to be a great putter. I find it better than my more expensive putter and used it for all 18 holes. Used it a third time. It’s replaced my Taylor made putter. It’s highly accurate. I’m making more putts. My golf buddies are impressed with my putting improvement with this inexpensive putter. Works for me. I love it. Get one for the price. It will not disappoint. 02/24 update i have been using this putter continuously since 2022. It’s great. Orlimar has made a quality and dependable putter. 5 stars and more.

I’ve been a blade putter all my life. Scotty has been my friend for several years. After taking a couple years off I wanted to try a mallet putter this year after desiring a little bit hotter feel off the face. I decided I would try something cheap with good reviews to test out a mallet style before committing to an investment. After about 20 rounds this year, I’m sticking with this $30 putter. Speed control is extremely good. Hot but not too hot, still some feel. Not horribly pingy or overly soft, you can still feel the ball off the face. It hits on my desired line well. Not too short of shaft and not too slanted, more upright, which works well for me at 6’2. Great grip, no need to change that. I’m inching my way back to my previous handicap and have never putted better in my life. I got the black and gray single line putter.

Played my first 18 today with my new Tangent T1 today. Took about 6 holes for me to adjust from my old Taylormade spider. I know what your saying to yourself, why would I go from the spider to this putter. Long story short, last week there was an unfortunate accident on the 16th hole of my last game, and well the spider didn't make it...lol I think you know where I'm going. So I decided not to have such expensive accidents in the future. Anyway about the T1, I'm very pleased with the quality for the $ invested. The wide grip and looks compare with any $150 putter on the market. The head cover is a little bit of a pain to take on and off but I usually get a novelty head cover for more clubs anyway so no big deal. If I'm being objective, I would say the only very minor issue I have is the head is a tad heavy. Now that could just be a personal opinion. I'm sure there are some that would prefer the heavier head. It took me about 6 greens to finally get it down. I was having a tendency starting out with this putter to get to low on my puts, causing me to nick the grass before hitting my ball on the green. Stupid I know, but I attribute this issue with the wait difference from my old putter head to this one. Overall on a scale of 1-10, comparing this to the top $ putters on the market. I would give it an 8 out of ten stars. This is the second Orlimar club that I bout. My first was the Orlimar 3h hybrid. My happiness with that club lead me to purchase the T1 putter. After my experience with both of mu Orlimar products, I will absolutely continue to purchase the Orlimar clubs over the high $ products in the future. I'm done buying the expensive clubs. Orlimar has the same modern look and quality as the popular brands on the market. Hopes this feedback helps.

外観が虹色で独特のカラーで気に入っています。最初は余り期待していませんでしたが、これがどうして思いのほか自分に合っているのか、不思議にカップインの確率が良いので驚いています。パターは値段が高ければ良い訳でも無くとても良い商品だと思います。たぶんパターとしてのバランスが良く出来ている様に思います。

The putter is both nice to look at and nice to hold. The grip is better than most, and the lines are great to align the putt. The weight is just right in my opinion. I have used it in 6 rounds so far and it's a keeper for me. While I'm not yet 100% comfortable with the alignment results, I am VERY satisfied with weight of my long putts and my putts from just off the green.

Great Value Well constructed, Face is white though so ball markings in permanent marker leave marks on face.

Great putter, it has really helped my putting game, although it is a bit heavier than I would like.
