Cid Rocks!
It was great getting to know a different side of Cid...he's such a great character and a loyal member of the PEEPs gang. I am looking forward to more of his new group...seeing how they interact with each other and with the PEEPs. I tried to make this book last longer; however, I finished it in about one day. I was traveling, and I couldn't even stretch it out to the end of my trip...I was so engrossed in the story. Thanks again, Alexie...this was a great ride and I look forward to many more Cid adventures!

I'm in love with the new crew
I absolutely loved this book. The characters were fun, very realistic and loveable. The dead were to die for. (pun intended) I loved them all, with one exception. I will now be waiting with bated breath for the next book. I couldn't put the book down, nor did I want to.If anyone was capable of breaking out on there own, it was our sweet Super-man. I can't wait to read more about Cid. Every woman dreams of a gentle hero....Cid fits the bill. Congratulations Alexie on yet another fantastic book.

Good spin off series
I enjoyed the book but must admit to missing Did Garrett's side kicks-best friends-fellow Peep's Gang from the Haunted series, though they are mentioned often in this book. The timeline (for those of you reading the Haunted Series by Alexis Aaron) of this new series., Cid Garrett P.I., starts during the time of Mia Cooper Martin's second pregnancy (Varden Martin) hopefully this will help you when it references stories about Cid's life with the PEEP's gang and where he lives when not on these short times off for this storyline. My advise is to read the Haunted Series first or at least start them (it's a very long series - 34 wonderful books with the 35th book hopefully coming out soon) until you come to the book when Mia is pregnant with Varden ! I wish that I had started reading this book when it references Cid taking a break to do a renovation job but I had no idea that this first book started up about that time. I just assumed it began after the last book in the Haunted Series until I found out a new book was coming out in the Haunted Series. Still this is a fun read. I hope my review helped and didn't totally confuse you if you are reading it to help you decide to purchase this book. I will say that I have enjoyed each book this Author has written and though sex is mentioned in many books (as frankly it's the natural part of living) it never has explicit smutty scenes - so if you like smut you won't find them in Alexie Aaron's books!

Construction and the Paranormal
Wow! A little spooky, a lot of fun and wonderful turns and twists, make this a wild romp through a haunted mansion. The characters are wonderfully drawn and people you would love to meet. Her take on the paranormal is different, but it covers all the bases to tie up the end of the story nicely. A few swear words to keep the feel of a haunted or accident plagued construction crew are acceptable. The lack of sex scenes was a pleasant surprise, as well.

Cid is a wonderful story with new characters that are amusing
Even if you have never read the Haunted series, which you absolutely SHOULD!!, this book will grab hold of you and not let you put it down. Cid is a wonderful story with new characters that are amusing, frightful and sometimes scary just being human. :-). Our " Superman" out on his own showing us he can handle the ghosties just fine. I read this book in two days. It was just that good. Alexie Aaron never disappoints.

Had to read them all
Love this series and the Cid series. I was hooked on the Haunted series book one and had to read them all in order. And then onto the Cid series. Can't wait for more Haunted!

Good story
This is an extension of the PEEP's membership. did has a new adventure working as a carpenter and find himself smack dab into a ghost investigation. Good writing, good characters and still part of the paranormal investigators that I have grown to enjoy. Maybe there will be more books like this one. I especially liked the relationship between Kiki and Jake, the ghost that resides in PEEPS computer. I thought it was touching and should be expanded into another storyline. Kudos to the author!!

Looks like another great series!
I really enjoyed this start of a new series. It seemed less "complex" than the Haunted series which I found I kind of missed, but then it IS a different series. I am truly looking forward to the next book in each series. I check on Alexie's books much more often than any other author - making sure I get the next one as soon as possible. I like different ghost/paranormal books, but many of them just aren't what I'm looking for. Too silly or outrageous, some just overdone. Alexie Aaron does an awesome job and I'm thrilled to have another series I really want to read.
