Can i weld flux core with a co2 gas tank for the sheild gas

Self-shielding flux-cored wire does not require external shielding gas because the weld pool is protected by gas generated when flux from the wire is burned. As a result, self-shielding flux-cored wire is more portable because it does not require an external gas tank.

Will this machine tig weld aluminium

Yes and no. Ac tig is best for some types of aluminum. So you’ll need to be mindful of the kind of aluminum you are welding.

Will this work for repairs on a automobile frame?

I use this welder to build bumpers for racecars, it should easily handle some frame work

What welder should I get? if I’m doing multiple types of metal no thicker than 1/4 inch
