I LOVE this shampoo!!!! I don't need to use much for it to work. it IS a little runny, but it works wonderfully. I have such clean hair and it smells nice. You do need to leave it on for 3-5 minutes to get the full effect of the neem, especially if you are using it for dandruff. It is kind of cooling on the scalp. I have really thick and long hair and this has no problem working through it, cleaning it, or leaving it dry. This leaves my hair shinier, and in better condition than it ever was before. I will NEVER go back to regular shampoos again! I have been using this shampoo for years. I do not use the average drug store shampoos and conditioners anymore as to lessen the chemicals my family uses on our body and hair. This Theraneem shampoo is scented with pure essential oils such as rosemary and peppermint. It is very invigorating and you can feel the clean you get after shampooing. But, it's an all natural clean which I feel comfortable with using on myself and rest of family. It does not have a thick consistency and may even seem watery compared to the average shampoos out there. But, do not think that has anything to do with its cleaning power. The essential oils in this alone clean dirt and kill bacteria so it is very potent at doing its job. Then, of course, there is neem oil in this which is known for medicinal properties for the skin and hair. Neem also is used to rid parasites, head and body lice, acne, fungal and bacterial issues, etc. You can google 'neem medicinal' if you're interested in learning all about that. It gives you a pick me up as well because of the peppermint and rosemary oil in it. I even use it on my back when I get occasional acne there. Highly recommended to anyone that wants to use a safer, natural, yet effective shampoo.

An itchy scalp is a sign of an underlying fungal problem. Neem is a natural antifungal herb. That is why I love this shampoo and after using for a month (once a week) any sign of itchy scalp is typically non-existent. My scalp feels clean with Theraneem. The smell is extremely herbal and neem has a naturally unpleasant smell, so dont be shocked if you get this and youre not used to the different scents from different herbs. It doesn't bother me because Im not using shampoo for the way it smells. Im using it for the herbal benefits which I love. I have not tried the conditioner yet but I need to. This shampoo must be used in conjunction with a conditioner, because the conditioner is what will make your hair soft and manageable. Highly recommend!

The silicone and other bizarre ingredients in today's commercial shampoos sent my scalp into a chronic reaction which cleared up a lot with a switch to 100% natural shampoos at last, but wasn't 100% cured. Knowing neem is great for all kinds of skin things, I got this shampoo. Have used it twice so far with dramatic improvement. I leave it on 3-5 minutes before rinsing. What I didn't expect was that it leaves my fine, limp hair full of body and shine, without using a conditioner! And here I've been trying one natural shampoo after another trying to get some body. I'd give this 5 stars but I do smell a bit of neem even after thorough rinsing--it's a smell I dislike. I don't know if other people can smell it, but I can. So once my scalp is fixed I'll have to switch to another shampoo. Which is a shame because this shampoo is fantastic for fine, limp hair.

I had a bad reaction to a professional coloring treatment, that just got worse as the days went on. 16 weeks had gone by and I was losing hair by the handful. My head itched so badly that I imagined I had lice! I bought the Nioxin series to clean my scalp and then used Neutrogena clarifying shampoo too. Nothing abated the itch or hair loss. I bought the TheraNeem Scalp Therape shampoo AND conditioner and the next day my scalp felt better...now a few days into it, I have no hair loss issue, my scalp is almost itch free, and my hair FEELS better than it has in years! I just blowed it out and used NOT ONE of my blow style treatments and it looks great! I buy the best Professional products and was afraid to use this product on my color treated hair...but I wasn't going to have any left, so I just bought it. I am SO GLAD that I did, and I hope that anyone reading this with a problem, or just someone who wants beautiful soft hair tries this series. Our hair health begins at the scalp, and this product is making mine healthier than it has been in a long time. I also bathed all three of my dogs using the shampoo ONCE and all of their coats feel great! And the skin condition on the little guy looks better to the eye! It is a natural tick and flea repellant I hear.

What lovely shampoo - I’ve used natural shampoo’s for many years as find shop bought ones often leave my hair flat, dull and oily after a while, and lots of naturals shampoo’s cause head spots and recently sebaceous dermatitis. What’s going on? This Theraneem shampoo has cleared up my scalp, leaves my hair nice and full of bounce, and a bonus seems to have cleared up my lifelong oily hair. The shampoo smells sort of medicinal with lemon, is thinner than most commercial shampoo’s but lathers up nicely and rinses out well too. I’ve found it can sting the eyes a little more than normal, but just rinse and it’s fine. I’ve bought the conditioner too but haven’t yet used it - I don’t use conditioner often as my hair is fine and dead straight, and it hasn’t been a problem at all just using this shampoo. Will definitely be buying again. A favourite with me.

I purchased this to help with itchy scalp. It’s thin in consistency which I like because it’s easy to massage it to the scalp. Lathers very well and smells really good so far it has helped. I will only use this as my shampoo going forward given the natural ingredients!

I bought this to help with scalp psoriasis and I must say it’s helping so much! My scalp is much calmer, less itchy and my plaques are much thinner than before. If you are struggling with scalp psoriasis I really recommend this product to ease and help you!
