This fits perfectly in the cubby for my US 2018 Model S. It has zero setup- it just slides right in. There is enough resistance so that it doesn't bounce around as the car drives or slide out on its own- you have to pull it out for it to come out. But the resistance isn't so high that it feels jammed or stuck. It's just right. The appearance is also just right. It matches my car's interior well enough that it's not obvious that it didn't come as part of the car. It looks good. The extra space is very useful. I keep my sunglasses, pens, coins, etc. in here. Given the Model S's sparse interior, there wouldn't be a good space for these things otherwise, and the cubby wouldn't keep anything secure without this, so it makes a useless space useful. The reviewers complaining that this doesn't fit seem to be British. I guess this means this doesn't fit Model S's that have the driver's side on the right. But if your driver's side is on the left (like in the US) it should be perfect.

I purchased this after seeing reviews from others about how handy it was to have a sliding drawer for the cubby hole. I really like this unit. It fits perfectly, and hides the cubby hole, which should help to stop other members of my family from swiping my bubble gum and loose change. It sure looks a lot better than having items in the cubby hole visible to everyone in the cabin. No regrets on this purchase.

Amazing product however after about a year the cushions on the side came off so when I accelerate now it slides out. Other than that it’s a nice perfect fit and made great use of that storage area.

It's surprising a car so high tech could be missing these much needed storage cubbies. Works great.

Cons: 1. Bad quality control (brand new product has scratches) 2. Build quality is not great, it cheap plastic and very thin. Pros: 1. Fits perfectly 👌 and stays in place. 2. Can store good amount of random small stuff without worrying about them flying all around when breaking. I store a wallet, a metal card holder containing all my store cards, Tesla adapter, coins holder and few random small things and I can easily open and close the drawer. 3. Cost effective, not too expensive. I had bought one in 2020 at around $80 from Amazon and it didn't even fit well so I returned. Compared to that, this is quite cheap, fits better and has same build quality. Overall, it depends on your need. I am happy to keep it, deducted 1 star for bad quality control and 1 for poor build quality. So giving it 3 stars.

I had one for our 2013 model s and just loved it. When we got our 2018 model x, this is the first thing I went for. The value is just tremendous because it’s not expensive at all and the drawer makes that little cubby much more organized and useful. This drawer isn’t just a plastic rectangle by the way. It is easy to pull out and push in; it has foam on the sides to provide a snug fit; it doesn’t rattle or vibrate; and it stays in place even upon hard acceleration.

I searched extensively for a cubby drawer for my early 2014 Model S, and this turned out to be the perfect choice. The front of the drawer is glossy plastic, which matches my piano black interior accents perfectly. It's a better way to store small items and sunglasses and keeps them from flying out of cubby when accelerating. This one blends in perfectly, looks like it belongs in the car and fits well. I rarely do reviews, but did one for this item, because it fit the need perfectly and looks good in the car.

Looks good, easy to use, and fits nicely. Of course, it's quite loose once you start to pull it out so you have to be mindful not to let it drop. You really can't expect anything more at this price. I'm happy with it.

This item is not fit for purpose, I have a 2020 model x which meets the criteria on the advert, this cubby drawer in no way goes anywhere near fitting as shown in my photo. This was taken AFTER removing the original rubber liner from the dash. As you can see it this is now pushed in as far as it will go.

This product was advertised as a drawer that fits both Model S & Model X as seen here. However, despite this the drawer is not properly fitted to my 2019 Tesla Model X and does not close or fit properly. This is seen in the pictures attached. I am quite disappointed with this as I was very keen when I first ordered the product and waited long after order for its arrival.
