Short extension cord
Perfect for my application. Cut off female and wired into my radial arm saw Good replacement. Other one is on the work bench. Very handy.

Good Buy. Works well; Conserves space; Avoids tangle.
Cord management MUCH easier, without sacrificing reach (length).

Perfect !
I got tired of all the cords and extensions all over the place. I wanted a brightly colored coiled extension cord to run from the wall to my table in the middle of the room. Which then attaches to a clip on outlet bar. The idea was not to trip on it, and to be able to put it away when the work table turns into a dining table. Works perfectly

A nice cord, but could be better
This is my review of Primeโs Orange Coiled Power Tool Cord. You get 2 orange-colored, coiled cords, that go from a coiled length of 23 inches (0.5meters) to a maximum length of 10 feet (3meters), plus they are 3-prong (grounded) male/female. Will they extend out to the stated length? The answer is yes; however, in my test, I discovered that the amount of force required to stretch it out to full length is so much that it winds up pulling it out of the socket you have it plugged into. Plus, after being pulled out to that length, it takes a long time to coil back up. Temperature is a factor. We are in our cold months, and I used one of these outdoors where the temperature was below the freezing mark. After using it for a bit, I unplugged my tool, but the cord would not retract. I had to take it inside to warm up before it recoiled. Design flaw As previously mentioned by another reviewer, the male plug is put on upside down. According to U.S. electrical code, when installing a 3-prong (grounded) receptacle, the ground must be down. As you can see from my photo, this forces you to plug it in with the cord on the top, putting undo pressure on the plug/cord connection. I am hoping that in future releases of this product they will correct that problem. I know my review is a bit on the negative side; however, they do seem to be sturdy. For myself, I have found the perfect place to use them. I hung them from the rafters of my shop, where they hang just over the workbench. Now, when I need to powerup a tool, I just reach up, pull down the cord, and when I have finished, release it and it coils back up and out of the way.

Good Value
I have a corded electric snow shovel. When it is well below zero, my standard extension cord was very stiff and constantly got in the way. Even in the cold temperatures, these coiled cords held their shape and flexibility. I plug three of them together and that gives me plenty of length to clear our 11'X18' back deck. I would buy 1.5 times the legth you actually need. Like I needed 20'. But I bought 40' (four 10' cords) and I'm using 30' of that. You don't want to over exted it. Especially in cold weather. Much better to have way more than you need than barely enough. They are certainly inexpensive enough to buy extra.

Product worked fine but slowly lost its spring back after 3 stretches

Strong Spring Pull is Annoying
This coiled cord is OK, but has a strong pull from the spring force. The first thing that happened was that it pulled out the plug on my shop vac. I had to tie the shop vac cord to the coiled extension cord. Then, you set the wheeled shop vac on the floor, and the spring force pulls back 8 feet. So, I stretched it out a bit to reduce the spring force, and that works better, but I'm not sure it will remain untangled now. Maybe it will. I think it would have stretched out over time anyways from frequent use. I guess it's still better than an uncoiled 10ft cord that I have to untangle every time I need to use it.
