A Great Service to aged and Humanity
For,so,long Islammhas been degraded because of its time long belief in Hadiths almost replacing the Quran with them. It seems that so many wrongs and injustices have been committed by following Hadiths from wife beating, to the age of A'isha to disunity amongst Muslims. Now at last a true Muslimhas said what should have been said long ago that the Wuran is the ONLY authority in Islam.Whenever people attack Islam they use Hadiths not so much the Quran because there are enough translations to cross check and get the meaning that was intended. But Hadiths are destructive. When people just tonight attacked Muhammad and Islam using Hadiths I said to them that I only recognise the Quran as the Word of God nothing else. They have ceased to attack me because Hadiths were their main weapon and when I disarmed them of that they stopped attacking .THEN by complete chance, or was it, I came across this book and I read a bit of the introduction and immediately bought it.Dear Dr Rashad. Do not be sad. God, Allah is very well pleased that you are speaking the truth and reeducating others and they will eventually abandon these harmful Hadiths. How do they defend the hadiths that A'isha was 9 years old? They can't. Yet with the Quran we know the age of puberty must take place before marriage and Muhammad would have obeyed that so she was not a minor. But they point to the Hadith and slander and defame Islam and say terrible things about Muhammad which are all lies from Hadiths probably written by enemies.God bless you eternally.

Disappointed
Very disappointed with the author's work on this. I found while reading this text that there are many areas where the author simply inserts their personal viewpoint on Qur'anic verses rather than relying on any rules of exegesis which are agreed. I realize many people may not be happy to read this review but its my honest opinion.

Quran, Hadith and Islam
This is the most useless book I have purchased. There is no logical flow in the book. There seems no connection between chapters.

Valuable to Quranists and Academics
This book was written by the alleged latest and final (for real this time, seriously guys) Prophet of God as an attempt to explain why his beliefs are the latest edition of the most-correct way to practise (Quranism) the most-correct version (Islam) of the only correct category (Abrahamic) of human religion. It will be treasured by novice and veteran Quranists alike as a comforting source of confirmation bias that reinforces their belief they are the only correct religious people in the entire world. It will likely offer some value to secular academics and the like who are seeking to learn more about Quranism or the teachings of Rashad Khalifa.Devout followers of mainstream Islam (Sunni, Shia etc.) will almost certainly not appreciate this book's over-arching message of, "You're wrong but I'm right and here's why," as it will directly attack the childhood, cultural and social conditioning responsible for their beliefs. As in any case of one man's bias vs another's, it will result in a failure to communicate and a great deal of anger and frustration. As such I strongly advise non-Quranist Muslims to avoid this book unless they are deeply dissatisfied with their beliefs, or have a masochistic nature.

Decent book
I actually liked this guys bookIf Muhammed said dont write anything other than quran (technically in a hadith lol) then why dont people honor that? And he has a good point in another book of when you take shahada why have Muhammed in it when you are making a statement of faith to God alone? God has no partners according to the quran......And where in quran does it say to have Muhammed in the prayers? He was just human, not sinless like Jesus. (Jesus is the only one satan couldnt touch because Jesus was pure, sinless, born from a virgin) christians are to pray to God and ask things in Jesus name as Jesus said to do it that way. Muhammed never said anything in quran to use his name in prayers that Im aware of. Faith in the one Holy Creator of the Universe, God the Almighty. This Khalifa gentleman I read was killed by other muslims, seriously? Only God can judge us, whether we are jewish, christian, muslim, or any other faith,. Jesus didnt kill anyone.I think quran only is a good thing and it says its fully detailed so why do people add to it? Why do other muslims hate the quran only people? Doesnt God say there are to be no divisions among you? Saying only sunnis are right is the same as saying catholics are only right....God doesnt get caught up in churches, buildings, denominations, its about fatih in Him and following his word. .yet look at all the different denominations/non denominations yet its one God, his Son Jesus, the Holy Spirit and one book, the Bible ( I think there are books missing from it) . Why make it complicated? This Khalifa gentleman maybe doesnt have every answer under the sun but he has islam to be simple and quran only. Why is that a badthing? Read and decide for yourself :)

Biased and lacks rigour.
The author, in his attempt to argue that the Quran alone is sufficient for Muslims, has mixed up a number of different non-causative points. The author argued, I would say incoherently, that we don't need to rely on the Hadiths citing broadly four reasons- firstly the Quran is complete and perfect; secondly, the hadiths may not be authentic and that they may not be Mohammad (swa)'s sayings/actions; thirdly, Mohammad (swa)'s sayings/actions may not be considered divine; and finally, those who follow hadiths are doing Shirk as they are relying on sources other than the Quran.I felt that the book is descriptive, although rightly relied on quotes/verses from the Quran, and it appeared that very limited attempts were made to engage with the verses- such as the context, background, purposes, time and meaning of the verses. The book has a number of sweeping comments which are not always supported by explanation. The author seemed had made up his mind and was occassionally biased in his analysis. I thought it would had been better if the author was to be more balanced and fair to the various sides of the arguments (i.e.- Ahle Quran and Ahle Hadiths) and allow the readers to make up their minds.

Good reading
This book is interesting reading. However, I feel it was short and after finishing it in a day I really can't justify why I spent all that money for. Specially most of what is written is available on the submitters website.
