This book is incredible! It doesn't exactly tell you what to pray besides "ask God what you should pray about." It's not a grocery list approach. I thought the chapters would be different prayer prompts. I am glad to say I was wrong. I have a father who does not know the Lord. So I pray for that, and there's another long /ongoing prayer about the guy I will marry. I already know him, but it's complicated. Basically, this book challenged me and encouraged me and confirmed things I'm already doing. And how God works... Even my Bible in a Year plan lined up with it! How is that even possible? God knows timing. I feel like God did that to remind me and make it SO clear to trust His divine timing for my Dad to come to Jesus and when I get to see my love again. The life examples in this book are crazy and awesome and such how God works! And if you got all the things you wanted right away, how would that glorify God? We do have to be persistent was persevere, like Paul says to count good even the trials. I have new views on physically being on my knees in prayer now. It's not about old school ways or anything anymore. It helps your heart posture. It isn't a necessity bc you can still pray eyes open and drive, but it really pushes you, and it has added humility if you've to an age/season that kneeling and getting up can take some time. Anyways, it's top notch in gleaning new things on how, where, for who, and when to pray. and big things says specific things can really glorify God. I love this.

I’ve read this multiple times with my wife and here are a few thoughts from my experience: I always feel convicted, edified and inspired reading this book. I always see God answer prayer during the challenge We also always have new things join our prayer circling list during the 40 days. MAKE SURE you have others praying for you as the enemy will attack you during this time and try to get you distracted, discouraged or off course. Absolutely do this challenge with your spouse or future spouse, or a close friend. It will dramatically impact your relationship in a good and lasting way.

Incredible book on prayer which will completely revolutionize your spiritual journey. I intend to read a chapter a day continuously as part of my daily routine. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Want to start living in the purposes and plans of God? This is a must read for all to begin to focus, and align with the heart beat of God and start living and operating from the favor and blessings of God.

Bought one for me and one for my husband. We pray together. Helps you in daily prayer and a more meaningful prayer life. Great read. When finished we intend on passing these books on to other people to enrich their prayer life.

A must read! Short, easy to understand and powerful chapters. Our Life Group did it in 40 weeks! Plenty to discuss each week! Each chapter an encouragement to draw closer in our relationship with the Lord through prayer. This is one of those books one hoped would not end so soon.

Just coming to the end of my prayer circle challenge with a group and have really enjoyed this book! Really great read! The chapters are short but impactful and the storytelling is wonderful. I’m looking forward to doing a prayer circle again.
