I've tried a few single HDMI over Ethernet Cable systems, none of which have been very impressive and mostly either work intermittently or are so poor your lucky to get away with 720P signal. THIS OREI unit however (at least the 4 way one I have) I can strongly recommend. 1) Couldn't be simpler to setup, really, my cat could have set it up in 5 minutes. 2) No power required at any of the satellite boxes (box at the TV/Monitor) as its POE, only 1 Power Adapter required (that comes in the kit naturally) that connects to the main unit. 3) I literally dragged 4 cables round the house to various TVs and Monitors to test it and it worked perfectly, firstly I had the output (from my Reolink NVR) set to 1080P as most of the TVs/Monitors I was using for testing are only HD, not 4K. Everything working great, so I tried setting the NVR to 4K output, expecting only the TV directly connected to the OREI passthrough to work as its the only 4K on the circuit at that time, well, to my surprise all the other connected TVs/Monitors still worked, not sure if this magic box from ORIE senses each circuits max resolution or some other mystical forces were at work, but work it did. But to be far, the NVR is 4K, BUT its MAX frequency at any resolution is 30fps. I may test it later with higher frequencies but for my needs this is perfect. 4) The price, I am very impressed with the quality of this system at this price, I've seen other 4 way systems of much poorer quality with very bad reviews at double or the price of this one. So, All in All, if you want to share an HDMI signal around your house (I've tested it to 50m, but I Imagin it will be fine at double that or more) this is the solution. I even tested it using a very old 30 meter CAT6 cable that I know is rotten (it has insulation damage and had water ingress) and the picture was still perfect. Review: Sky Q HD in Every Room! - This was the fourth solution I tried to distribute Sky Q HD to every room in the house. Previous solutions didn’t work, were unreliable, reduced picture quality, suffered from a poor refresh rate or broke up intermittently. Thankfully this solution doesn’t suffer from any of these issues. The picture quality is crystal clear, audio is great and there’s no noticeable delay. The IR functionality also works flawlessly. I’m running the solution over the cat5e cabling that I have run throughout the house. The receivers are very small so easily hidden behind the TVs and the main unit has brackets to attach to the wall. Since this product needs to be connected directly to each of the receivers I had to locate it in the cupboard under the stairs where all the cat5 points are terminated.
