1oz Lavender Lotion Bar All Natural Lotion in Tin

I was looking for a lotion bar for one reason only. To get rid of one more item in my 3-1-1 bag. There are tons of options all over amazon and I was really hunting for one that wasn't overpowering with fragrances. I don't really care for them. This seemed to be one of the few with reviews saying it wasn't terribly strong and I've discovered this has a nice light fragrance that doesn't bother me.So I wanted to try this before I left for my trip, because, hey, if I hate it I'm not taking it. But so far, I really like it. I've used it the last two days and I've noticed I haven't reached for it as often as I would with my liquid lotion. I do feel a sort of film on my skin, the beeswax, but it doesn't bother me. It doesn't feel greasy, more like a barrier. And being beeswax, it is more waterproof than regular lotion so I don't have to reapply lotion every time I wash my hands. So far, I already want to order another.

I bought this to reduce the amount of liquids to fly with. It was very nice but did take some time to rub in. Fragrance was light. Worked wonderfully until at some point the lid was jammed and I couldn’t open the tin. Which is why 3 stars.

I loved this. Has a very strong scent that dissipated quickly. Perfect for my rough skin areas. Got it for my injured foot. Helps with cracking, and keeps soft. I use it on my elbows and old age spots that get dry. Works perfect for what I purchased it for. Gave one to a friend. She loved it too. And it’s slim, easy to carry.

I really wanted to like this product. Lavender is a favorite scent for relaxing and comfort. However, the sharp, perfumy odor of this bar is definitely not remotely similar to lavender - it is unpleasant and intense. I will not be purchasing this again. As well, the storage can was caved in from being stepped on (I think), and was near impossible to open. Better packaging is recommended.

Most "bars" of this type are hard, and can be removed from the tin to be applied. This is very different. It's more like a salve. I actually prefer it to the other kind, as it is easier to spread over my skin. I just take a glob out with a finger, rub it between my palms and spread over my skin. Very pleasant smell too.

The scent is amazing! It doesn't smell like lavender to me. To me it smells like jasmine with some honeysuckle. But nonetheless, I love it.
