I was really hoping it wasn’t too rough, and thankfully, it’s not! I love the rug but I won’t be able to keep it down for long. I thought it would be the perfect rug to put in the entry of our garage tot he house which is probably the highest traffic area in the house. Sadly, after just 2 weeks of use (and we don't wipe our feet on it, just walk over it) it has begun to fray in several places (see pics). I like that I can flip it over when it starts looking too ratty and start fresh, but I'm just disappointed in the lifespan of this first side already. In short, the rug looks fabulous and feels very high quality and it also lays flat immediately out of the box which I appreciate, but it just hasn't held up as well as I expected or hoped.
