Is this solution safe for the outside body of vehicle?

I never used it on the outside but I use it on everything on the inside, leather seats, carpets, dash board, door panels inside.

Does anyone use this on Matte interior? Does it leave any shiny residue?

I don't know what you mean? Matte interior. I use this stuff on everything on my car, leather seats, dash board, carpets in the car and in the house. A few squirts on the rug, the spot is gone. Sorry, I don't know what you mean buy Matte finish

Do you need a wet or dry cloth to wipe down and do you spray on cloth or directly on the surface?

i used a wet rag. was using it to loosen bugs on the front of my car. sprayed it on, let it soak for a few and then used a wet soapy micro fiber rag to wipe off, and then rinse. apply again if needed.

Is it safe to use on my Ceramic sealed exterior?
