I like my hair slicked back or pompadour i have straight hair and not thick will this hold under a helmet?

Is the packaging recyclable?

The lid is a tinny metal so possibly recyclable. The main tub is a frosted plastic, and nothing on the packaging seems to indicate that it can be recycled, so it seems unlikely. I bought it hoping that the whole tub would be glass or metal, was hard to tell from the picture 😕
