dear mrs morris, I have used the said mattress for a number of years and I am very pleased with it. sizewise it fills the centre of a single bed, leaving space at the bottom and top. weightwise I cannot tell but it is easily managed, as I have only one good hand as you can see by my typing as I cannot use the caps lock. I hope this is of use to you, but do not hesitate to purchase as I would not be without mine.

Sorry, I really don't know though would have assumed so as the advertising photo is of a child. I bought it for myself and am very happy with it. It's so comfortable, I'm getting a great nights sleep with it, will consider the full sized one at some point in future.
