I love fresh garlic, but I hate to peel it. I love these. They are easy to use and they work well. Most of the time all the peel comes right off. Even if it doesn't, it's so loose that it comes off in my hands. Also easy to clean.

We use a lot of garlic, and I used to hate peeling it. This simple devices turns peeling into a pleasure. One must first cut the "root" off of each clove, but this would be done anyway. On some heads it works perfectly, with every clove dropping out completely peeled. With other heads one may still need to remove the peel by hand, but it is always much easier than it would have been. I suspect that one of these tubes will not last very long, and will eventually tear, which is why three are provided. They save so much work however, that I will gladly buy more when they wear out. This is actually the second time I purchased this item - this particular one is for a gift.

These things work great for removing garlic skins when doing multiple cloves of garlic. Also easy to clean and your fingers don’t get sticky and full of skins.

I hate peeling garlic and thought I would give this a try not really expecting too much. It surprised me that it worked very well in peeling the entire clove every time! It is amazing and I love it!

Unless the clove skin is broken first, these struggle to remove it, even pushing / squeezing very hard. I don't think they really save much time / effort v using the side of a knife to partially crush the garlic clove and then removing the skin by hand. Maybe if you were doing dozens of cloves at a time this would be worthwhile, otherwise just seems to contribute to kitchen clutter.

Why didn’t I buy this sooner! It’s amazing and makes peeling garlic so easy. I hand wash mine and it’s very easy to clean. Great gift for anyone who likes to cook.
