Can't beat it!
Fantastic for the trails! Great price for a solid product. Its survived almost a year of daily driving and monthly trail rides all over the state of Florida. The fabric is fading (as any fabric will in the FL sun) but it almost looks better worn in than it did new. Straps are solid, fits on a 35x12.50 without modification. Highly recommend as an alternative to the bigger name brands at a much better price.

Feels well-made—quality materials
I primarily use it for day trips into and out of the woods. I don't use it for multiday stays in the forest. The last thing I want is trash luring unwanted animals into camp. It is well-made. Stayed on the tire while driving off-road. Learned to line it with a large black trash bag. Using a plastic bag liner makes cleanup really easy.

Draw string doesn't work, but nice bag
Seems heavy duty. External pockets for stuff at camp, I won't travel with anything in them. The draw string isn't usable I added some snaps, which ended up working really well.

Took this up the Dempster Hwy to the Arctic Ocean and it was awesome!
I’ll give this five stars because it held up and didn’t let me down. Bought this for a trip from Jersey up to the Arctic Ocean and through Alaska/Yukon. 14,400 miles on interstates, dirt, gravel, mud and whatever else and it never failed. You won’t keep stuff in here clean as it’s not for that but I’ve carried upwards of 50 lbs at times and no rips etc. I used it to carry a shovel, 2.5 gallon filled gas can, a 12 pack of Diet Coke, exercise mat and some packaged food and whatever else I wanted to throw in there. Saved me the trouble of a roof rack. Worked great and it’s stored for the next adventure.

I've owned others. Hands down its the best!
I have worn out 2 other equipment bags, and I must say this one, hands down is by far the best. I paid considerably more for the others also. This one is much more superior in its construction and design. The only drawbback to it is actually due to its heavier construction. The drawstring is extremely difficult to close the top of the bag with. I put some $5 grommets in it and alleviated the problem in about 15 minutes time. I also did something that I had contemplated over time. It turned out to be the best thing I ever could have done with it. I searched for a tall plastic kitchen garbage can of similar dimensions. Then I cut the top of garbage can off to 30 inches of height. When I cut it, I left the back side 4 inches higher than the front so when I put it inside, the cover flap would always close with the front lower so most of rain would run off of it. This also put the cargo sack in the rectangular shape, with the same dimensions as the sack. It was a perfect fit! I did this because mine is used solely for equipment stowage. I also drilled 3 drain holes in the can in case any water found its way in. I could have stopped there and put my equipment in plastic bags so it would be waterproof but I didn't want that. I wanted to be able to reach in when need be and retrieve whatever I needed straight away. So I spent about an hour and made a cover for the top of the can out of thin guage aluminum sheet ( any hardware store) with side edges so it fit exactly to the top. I ended up with a beautiful looking unit that is one hundred percent dry inside. All of my stored expensive equipment looks exactly as it did when I put it in there! Happy, Happy. Ok, I could have stopped there but I had some expensive equipment in there so it needed to lock, right. I took some of the previous grommets I had, and installed 1 on each side of the front cover flap down toward the bottom. I followed that with a grommet exactly behind each of those in the main body of the sack so that you could poke something thru the grommets and I would pass thru both to the inside of the sack. Then I took some small guage braided steel wire cable and made about a 3inch circle. I then put a clamp on it so I ended up with a 3 inch loop of cable. I then squeezed the cable so it would pass thru the inner sack grommet and hang there. It couldn't come out because the cables clamp couldn't fit thru the grommet. So with a loop protruding from each end of the sack, when I wanted it locked, I would pass the loops thru the grommets on the cover flap and with 2 loops protruding I simply put a padlock on each side. Locked! With the hard cover I made for the top of the garbage can, if you put your arm thru the sides of the cover flap you couldn't reach down into it to access anything! Backyard engineering! I can say, never seen one like it! Hopefully you guys might want to play around with yours also. It's definitely the one to get. Michael

Super Handy for Camping & Overlanding!
Love this bag for the added convenience it brings to our camping setup. We used it to store dirty clothes while camping with our overland trailer, and it worked amazingly well. Kept all the smelly stuff away from our RTT, which was a huge plus. It’s super sturdy, fits our 35" spare perfectly, and it’s really easy to clean after a trip. Would work great for trash, gear, or anything you want to keep secure and off the ground. Definitely a must-have for anyone who camps or travels out of their rig!

Great Trash Bag Even Without a Spare Tire
Even though this bag is designed to mount on a spare tire, I don’t have one on the back of my truck (Chevy Colorado 3rd Gen). Instead, I attached it to the tailgate of the bed and it works perfectly. I mainly use it during camping or off-road trips. It’s very convenient for carrying trash out of campsites or even picking up garbage you find along trails. It keeps everything outside the truck, which is great. One small thing to note: it did leave some very light marks on the paint where it was touching the tailgate. They were superficial and easy to remove with some paint cleaner, but if you plan to mount it like I did, I’d recommend adding some rubber padding or spacers behind it. Overall it’s a very useful accessory. You can also use it to carry recovery gear or other equipment if you don’t want to use it only as a trash bag.
