Works like a charm. Makes van life much more bearable. Takes a little practice to judge distance, but once you get it down, its pretty awesome being able to snipe bugs without getting out of bed. Yes, you get small bits of salt around, but its a pretty minor inconvenience compared to dealing with swarms of flies. It won't kill wasps unless you're point blank, but it'll stun them so you can walk-em-down. It will however absolutely destroy house flies. It's fun, too, and humane (i guess?) considering they die instantly. Great purchase.

This Bug-a-Salt is AMAZING! Hubby's boss has one. My sister has one and killed a fly on my elbow (sleeve) at Thanksgiving. It was the first time seeing it. Ordered it as a surprise for my hubby. He thinks it is soooooo cool and wants to take it to work (he works outside). It is hard to cock it so you will need a lil arm strength but sooooo fun! Awesome product! HIGHLY recommend!
