Q: Does this gate check bag work if I'm doing curbside check-in for the stroller?

i m sure it would as your checking it under the plane only reason it says gate check is so you can leave it at the boarding ramp when boarding snd they throw it under and bring back up when you land and have it waiting for you if you check it you wont get until you pick up luggage

Q: would this fit City Mini GT??

I recently took a chance ordering for my City Mini GT and it fit perfectly (without having to remove the wheels as other suggested in order comments) and even had a little room to spare. It made it through our trip, having been checked at gate side. Not sure how many trips it will hold through, but for the price, I'm satisfied with the purchase.
