A good mini case.
A well-made and designed small case that is worth the price and delivers on what it advertises.

Great for the price, but you get what you pay for
This case is great at being a budget option for those who are looking for a slim, sleek and compact case to build a small form factor build in, which is why I was drawn to building in the case. I hadn't heard of the brand before this, however the quality of the case is quite good for around £30. The case has a good exterior, however one issue is that there is no Front panel audio, which means you are limited to the rear motherboard audio jacks. Not a big issue for me - just watch out. Inside, it is almost a carbon copy of the Dell Optiplex cases, which is a good thing as they are very well built, however the drive mounting bays in this case are a little difficult to do and take some time and patience to secure a drive in. As mentioned by another reviewer, you will need to have a TFX power supply as the standard PSUs are too large, so make sure you check the clearance before you buy. My case was missing a few parts but Amazon came to the rescue and gave a partial refund, however the power and disk activity LEDs were loose when I got it, so it took a while to re-position them to their respective holes in the front panel. Also note the 80mm fan supplied isn't the best (loud whine when trying to cool the internals) so I recommend getting a replacement one for long term use. Overall it's a great case for £30, just don't expect a rock solid build quality as it's cheap at the end of the day.

Nice First Impressions, Build quality not so good.
I love the look of this case. Its one of the smallest and lightest mATX cases you can get. Its pretty much a copy of the dell optiplex computer with the way the inside is designed (a good thing) However the hard drive caddies are very delicate and start to fall apart if you change hard drive a few times, there is very little space to plug in a sata cable to the hard drive (the sata cable tends to catch the side panel when opening) and the side panel stopped closing properly after a few weeks. So have to say it looks great on first impression but you get what you pay for. The caddy could be better quality and more space given for wiring to the hdd caddy.

Outstanding value, but be aware of a few things.
As at least one reviewer didn't have a tape measure on hand, this is a low profile case with only about 10cm of clearance, so make sure you get a TFX style PSU and if you decide to have a dedicated graphics card, make sure it is low profile. I would recommend anything in the AMD Ryzen line for the CPU that comes bundled with the Wraith Stealth cooler, which has just under 6cm and runs almost silently (see pictured). The storage/CD tray bay is rather ingenius and lifts out easily for toolless harddrive installation, and when folded down provides a rigid surface for those that like to have their monitor mounted. I'm honestly surprised at the build quality to price ratio on this one. I would not recommend this case for gaming builds, as the low profile nature of the case and solid, sleek design of the panels only allows for an 80mm fan and thus the airflow is suboptimal, which costs one star, however for a solid office PC on a budget you will really struggle to find something of better value.

Very limited options for cooling your components
Good value for money option for mini-itx or micro-atx builds providing your cooling needs are minimal. Bear in mind that there is no ventilation holes at all in this case except at the front (concealed) where there is a mount for a 80mm fan and the back where there is a mesh area just over the connector panel at the motherboard (with no mount points for fans). Note also that the swivelling metal frame for the drives is not removable and further compromise the already restricted ventilation coming from the front even when no drives are actually installed. To make things even worse, the front intake fan, while almost inaudible, achieve its low sound profile by reducing its spin speed to a minimum which of course also further impact on cooling performance. Clearly, even with low-power hardware, the components inside are going to get cooked with this set up. Hopefully there are workarounds. You could, as I did remove the swivelling case for the drives by carefully forcing it out of the pivot points, then airflow from the front to the motherboard will be unrestricted. Then, provided you've got an spare PCI slot on your build, you could install a fan to extract hot air out of the case through one of the pci slots at the back. You could also mount a couple of 40mm fans on the metal mesh on top of the connector panel even when there are not mounting points for them using sticky tape or a glue gun. Both these options are expensive upgrades. Another point, don't be fooled by the pictures and think the front panel is brushed aluminium it is plastic imitating brushed aluminium but it is a good imitation I must say. Finally be aware that the mobo connector for the USB3 port at the front of the case is angled, not straight which, as in my case, may prevent you from fitting the much more important 16pin motherboard connector as they both lie next to each other in my mobo. Again there are workarounds but expensive. My advice is to go for a case with have better provisions for airflow and to carefully consider the components that you require to be fitted inside before purchasing to avoid disappointment.

Poco ingombrante
