​If you are on a budget or just want a reliable, featherweight backup mouse, the M617 is a solid choice. Weighing in at only 41g, you immediately notice how much less strain there is on your wrist. ​One of the coolest hidden features is the detachable Type-C cable design—it makes it incredibly easy to pack into a bag without worrying about bending the stress relief, and if the cable ever fails, you can easily swap it out. The stock clicks are responsive, and the honeycomb design gives it a nice, airy feel. ​The only minor downside is that the plastic shell and coating feel a bit basic out of the box, which is expected at this price point. However, the tracking is pinpoint accurate up to 10,000 DPI, and the symmetrical grip fits well for long sessions. It punches way above its price tag!

Going from a stock dell mouse, that was light in weight, and lower dpi, this mouse is AMAZING!! This mouse feels great, alot of adjustability, and feels great! Mouse weighs in at 102 grams, versus the 60 something that my dell weighed.. Tracks very well, and the software works great for color modes, dpi settings, and changing button uses.. All 6 buttons can be programmed for gaming or work purposes, Lighting works well, can customize to several different lighting effects.. Very happy so far! Time will tell how it holds up, but for the price point and quality, this thing is AMAZING!!

The product is very good, unfortunately the app to tweak it is only available for windows, not linux. The most impressive thing is the weight, it feels like nothing in your hand. I never dropped water in my mouse before, but know I fear doing so lol

Still works after all these years, but the lights will turn on while my PC is powered off, so if your PC is in your room may not be ideal. The design also makes it tough to clean especially for a white mouse.

Not a gamer: Just got tired of cruddy mice time after time. Decided to try a gamer's mouse, as those are the folks that would know great mouse. This is a new color, and it's gorgeous. Our others are red, which are totally fun, too. This mouse is dreamy, almost elegant. And works great like any Red Dragon mouse. (Our prior mouse - first purchase -- far outlasted other mouse purchases - something like 5 years.)

I have been a PC gamer for over 2 decades. Have used expensive peripherals as well as standards that come with the PC, etc. I discovered this brand and style a few years back and LOVED it so much that I have purchased many(different colors and slightly different models). And due to the affordable price, why not?! I now have one on my gaming PC, my work computers(have purchased a couple after losing some), my hobby computers, etc. I get literal anxiety if the previous models are no longer sold, but fortunately, they have always had a close alternative as a newer model. I love the weights and that you can adjust them. I leave all my weights in, but you don't have to. The case it comes is pretty nice for what it is and are great for when you have to do some moving and want to protect the mouse. I also really like how easy it is to change the DPI, and the lights are pretty fun at work when everyone is used to their boring HP mouse, mine adds pizzazz to the monotony that is the office environment. It's pretty neat.

Really light, so much lighter than any mouse I've used. But with bad ergonomics I found my hand cramping in games and me trying to find the right way to grasp it so I wasn't accidentally hitting mouse4 button on the side. If it was a little taller on the left side and maybe slightly larger in the palm it would be perfect. Might work well for someone with smaller hands though.

Absolute beast of a mouse! Lightweight, fast, and the software is unique to each product giving users the tools needed to make it their own without bloat! Great product! 10/10 would recommend!

You get what's on the tin I don't buy brand names you will be happy with it at a good price

Zuallererst die beiden Kritikpunkte die mir direkt aufgefallen sind: Die Mausskates sind meiner Meinung nach sehr klein. Auf einem der Skates fehlte die Schutzfolie. Die Tasten hinter dem Mausrad sind sehr locker, das führt dazu dass sie beim Bewegen der Maus klappern, was keinen guten Eindruck macht. Der Taster zum Profilwechsel ist auf der Unterseite. Durch die Software kann man die Funktion zusätzlich auch auf eine der anderen Tasten legen. Den 100Hz PollingMode muss man auch erst über die Software einstellen, Standard waren 500Hz. Alle Tasten können mit der Software komplett neu belegt werden. Es sind Makros möglich, MediaPlayer Funktionen, Windows Funktionen (Browser, Desktop, Mail und weitere), Standard Textfunktionen wie Copy & Paste und dann auch spezielle Gaming Funktionen wie den Fire Button, für den man konfigurieren kann dass mit wählbaren Abstand und wählbarer Wiederholung eine bestimmte Taste gedrückt wird. Man könnte damit einen Doppelklick simulieren oder eben wie vor eingestellt 3 mal die linke Maustaste auslösen. Man kann auch einzelne Tasten der Tastatur, oder Kombinationen wie "ALT + SHIFT + 6" konstruieren. Genauso wie man es für sein Game benötigt. Mit der Sniper Funktion lässt sich die DPI auf einen Wertfestlegen, während man die Taste dafür gedrückt hält. Der Bereich sind 500 bis 980 DPI einstellbar. Außerdem sind auch noch Makros möglich mit dem Makroeditor der Software. Nach der Installation trägt sich die Software im Autostart ein. Aber sämtliche Funktionen (auch die Makros) scheinen auch zu funktionieren wenn die Software nicht läuft. Man kann auch noch die CPI einstellen, so kann man die höchste Auflösung des Sensors nutzen, aber die Geschwindigkeit des Mauszeigers dennoch im Rahmen halten. Die Pointer Speed Einstellung ist eine Windows Einstellung wird aber dennoch erst angewendet, wenn man auf Übernehmen klickt. Die meisten Einstellungen treten erst in Kraft wenn man auf Übernehmen klickt. Dabei wird das komplette Set in die Maus übertragen, was man durch Flackern der RGB Beleuchtung und den Dialog der Anwendung gut sehen kann. Das Kabel ist 1,80M lang und vielleicht etwas zu steif, aber auch durch die geflochtene Ummantelung robust. Die Maus ist komplett aus Kunststoff, es gibt kein gummierten Bereiche, Maus liegt durch die Formgebung und die geriffelten Seiten dennoch gut in der Hand. Die Oberseite ist Matt gehalten. Durch die Form ist die Maus eher für Rechtshänder geeignet denke ich, da die 3 Zusatztasten nur auf einer Seite sind und mit dem kleinen Finger zumindest die vordere Seitentaste schlecht erreichbar ist. Die RGB Effekte sind Standard. Die Wave ist ganz gut, weil man dadurch auch sieht, dass die Maus verschiedene Farben gleichzeitig darstellen kann, genau wie in den Produktbildern. Das ist also hier nicht nur Marketing. Insgesamt beim Funktionsumfang eine gute Maus mit Abstrichen bei der Materialwahl. Für den Preis volle 5 Sterne
