Instruction are not included. You don't need to remove anything...this just gets soldered onto 2 of the lugs on the volume pot (on a standard strat circuit, use the center lug, and the lug closest to the blade switch).

Same capacitor and resistor for 250K as for 500K pots?

I have 250K tone pots on my Strat and I installed a YJM HIGH-SPEED VOLUME POT (500K).This mod worked perfectly on my set-up. I am super satisfied with the result. Hope that helps.

Will this mod fit inside a telecaster? my model has the switch bar mounted backward than most tele's. volume pot in front.

Both leads on this treble bleed circuit attach to the volume pot. It doesn't need much space ... should fit fine.

Does this get thin at 9.5 just before full volume?

No, It doesn't sound thin, .It just rolls off a tiny bit of gain and retains the clarity throughout the full sweep of the volume knob.
