I've used it several times since purchasing and the battery life is pretty good. I used the 2.5 AH battery on the weed eater and have had no issues weed eating and edging my yard. I live on about 8500 sq ft property and use about 1/2 to 2/3 the battery. I got a 5.0 AH through another deal and have used that with the leaf blower and that uses about 1/3 to 1/2 of that battery. So the 2.5 AH battery should work for the leaf blower as well. Depending on the size of your property, it might not be able to work for both a leaf blower and weed eater with out charge. The weed eater has good speed and power and the the battery on both devices is pretty light.
