I’ve been wearing waterproof liquid eyeliner for well over a decade, and I’ve tried just about everything- from Kat Von D, Stila, Maybelline, and NYX to other drugstore and high-end brands. This e.l.f. H2O Proof Eyeliner has officially become my new favorite. In my opinion, it’s the GOAT!!!!! The felt tip applicator makes it easy to create precise lines, whether you’re doing a subtle wing or a dramatic cat eye. The pigment is deep black, goes on smoothly, is easy to apply, and dries quickly without skipping. What really impressed me was the staying power. The photo I included was taken about 12 hours after application. During that time I: * Worked out at the gym * Ran errands in the summer heat * Spent time in a saltwater pool (without submerging my face) * Dealt with my naturally dry, watery eyes And it didn’t budge! No smudging, flaking, or fading. My wing looked almost exactly the same at the end of the day as when I first applied it. The only thing to know is that this liner is truly waterproof, so you’ll want a good waterproof eye makeup remover to take it off. Micellar water alone didn’t cut it for me, but honestly, that’s exactly what I want from a waterproof eyeliner. I remove it easily with Micellar waterproof makeup removing water. Pros: * Incredibly long-lasting * Truly waterproof and sweatproof * Rich, highly pigmented black * Easy to use felt tip for precise application * Outperformed every waterproof liner I’ve tried If you’ve been searching for an eyeliner that actually survives long days, workouts, humidity, watery eyes, and everyday life, this is it. I honestly didn’t expect a $7 eyeliner to outperform products that cost three or four times as much, but this one absolutely did. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Let me set the scene: - me? I’ve got oily eyelids. I’m Asian, things smudge, smear, and transfer because of the shape of my eyes. I have tried dozens upon dozens of liquid liners. I’ve worn liquid liner almost every day for the past two decades and I’ve tried every famous and non-famous niche brand you can think of. - where? I’m currently testing it in tropical southeast Asian jungle humidity. That means it’s 90° out and averaging 80%+ humidity. Your clothes are sticky wet just from existing outside so “waterproof” has to be “bulletproof” - to make things worse? I am sweatinnnnng. I am running all day. I took TWO showers. - RESULTS? this magical eyeliner did not budge! I looked fantastic, AFTER my TWO showers and 12hrs of humidity. I did my eyeliner in the morning and it sat unmoved in the most difficult of makeup environments the entire day. I did not use setting spray, I did not set it with eyeshadow, I even tightlined with it - UN. MOVED. Cherry on top: it was less than 1/3 of the cost of a comparable eyeliner. What a value!! The tip is sharp and comes to a fine point for a clean line application. The color payoff is RICHHHHHHHH. (In the words of Jaime foxx, it’s black. Blackety black black black.) it applies so smoothly and cleaner than any eyeliner I’ve ever had. I did not know that a liquid liner of this quality existed. I will never ever ever change to another formula as long as this one exists. Loyal for life. Ps - if you don’t have a steady hand, the q-tip trick won’t work. It’s almost like a stain. You need product (not just water or saliva) on the cotton swab to budge this eyeliner bc once it’s dry, it’s dry. I’m on the road so I used my snail mucin serum and that worked like a charm.

I find the brown color complimentary to my complexion. I am 71 with white hair, blonde eyebrows and blonde eyelashes. Using anything darker looks harsh. Still, I need color. The pen is easy to line my eyes. I can go as light or dark as I want depending on what I want to achieve. It lasts until I take it off. I have not had it run or flake under my eyes at all. It goes over my hooded, textured eyelids well. The point of the tip is a great tool. I’m well pleased. I have tried different eyeliners for years and they dragged or lost the color. Well done ELF!

Love this eyeliner, perfect to make small lines. I have been using this brand for a year now, it stays in place doesn't run. Highly recommend it. I am 66 and it looks great and stays put.

This eyeliner is VERY pigmented--it is literally one of the blackest blacks I own. It doesn't dry too shiny like some brands, but it is also not fully matte either which I LOVE. It doesn't dry out the eyes or make them itchy, which is an issue I have with A LOT of eyeliners. It stays on all day, withstanding sweat (I am a Chef, so I wore this ALL day in a HOT kitchen and it did not budge one bit in my 8hr shifts) The ONLY issue I do have is getting the lines to a point, I like my wings to look like they could be used as a weapon, so for my wingtips I go in with a gel liner since the felt tip on this just cannot get as thin as I want. I can say be careful as it is drying on your lid if you have hooded eyes to avoid that awful eyeliner smudge just after applying. Hard to remove without Micellar water. Love this eyeliner so far.

great for the price! nice sturdy felt tip that’s easy to use! it reminds me of another good eyeliner that’s WAY more expensive, I’m so happy I finally found this one!!!

This is such a good long-lasting felt liner for an amazing price - but it has one big flaw! The liquid bubbles up where the brush connects to the tube and it sometimes DRIPS onto your cheek when you are applying or you get it on your finger while you’re holding the tube. The drip is hard to remove from your skin and is such a pain. If it didn’t have that one flaw, it would be lovely. It’s easy to correct mistakes when you’re using the brush because it has a good flow and you can get a really thin or thick line depending on how hard you press. I love a super thin wing and this works for that. It lasts all day with no smudging even for hooded eyes. If only it didn’t drip!!

This is quite possibly the best cruelty free eyeliner ever. I was out all night dancing and sweating it did not budge one bit. I’ve had elf eyeliners in the past but this is absolutely incredible. Fast drying, comes off easily with coconut oil, smooth texture and easy to use pen. Literally not a thing I could fault. I also have sensitive skin so always use elf products and never have an issue.

I wanted something that was very thin but this is a bit too think for me. It also felt a bit dry as the flow was not great. Color is good and dark. If someone is looking for a bold look, I would recommend you to give it a try
