BBK Performance 1515 1-5/8" Shorty Tuned Length Performance Exhaust Headers for Ford Mustang 5.0L - Chrome Finish

I replaced a set of MAC equal length headers because the spark plug location of my new heads caused figment issues. I used these on a 95 Mustang GT even though they aren't for that year. These fit perfect but they do not have the EGR port which is not in place on my car (which is why I got these instead of 95 specific). The header bolts provided have a 3/8 head which is very easy to get to with a wrench and none of the bolt holes are difficult to get to. Installation was a breeze and I didn't have any problem getting them down in place and didnt have to remove anything other than the plugs and intake tube to install them. I used felpro exhaust gaskets instead of the ones provided so I can not give feedback on those. The headers also include studs with nuts, flat washers and lock washers for the collector flange. These are nice quality headers. I would recommend using a 6 point wrench for torquing instead of a 12 point.

I bought these with the hopes they would fit my 1971 F100 351W swap project. Most long tube headers would either hit the crossmember, starter area on the bell housing or the steering box. These provide great clearance on the passenger side and barely fit on the driver side. I’ll likely have to clearance them just a bit to provide a little more room near the steering box. Overall they are great quality from a product built in America. Gasket and bolts were good quality.

Fit great in my 1972 F100 with a 302 with GT40P heads. Plug boot angles are very tight so I definitely recommend 45° or 90° plug ends with boot protectors, I used a $20 kit from amazon. Comes with hardware for head flange and collector flange. You have to install the driver side spark plugs before you install the headers, that’s why i gave them 4 stars

replaced some old rusted leaking shortys . fit GREAT & plugs are EASY to change now on twisted wedge heads ! after reading bad reviews of the gasket that come with them, i ordered gaskets bbk 1575 also....A+....... same day for free was greatt too !

My first set had a bad primary tube weld which caused an exhaust leak. While it was exchanged no questions asked, it still was rather frustrating as I not only wasted time, but also it took two more days to finish the car.

No fitment issues, and everything is still looking nice after a few rides. The chrome does discolor and tarnish at startup, but everyone should already know that by now.

Shipping was quick, headers, gaskets, fastening hardware all in the box. Packaging all good and original, (no indication that I received an open box item as some reviews have stated ). Definitely will order from this vendor again. Have new mid pipe in basket, waiting to see if there’s a spring sale 🙂. Couldn’t wait, order mid pipe H pipe with cats, can’t beat pricing, I’ve compared all major Fox body parts suppliers 👍👍.

They are not chrome there the titanium silver

The product is good. Just needs to come with longer bolts to bolt them on. That’s the only issue I had.
