Good Grips Etched Coarse Grater, Orange

I was looking for a good reasonably priced coarse cheese grater. This one is the perfect choice for grating cheeses for making pizzas, it’s easy to hold over a bowl or whatever container you have, it’s super sharp and easy to clean. The size is also just right, very easy to grate large blocks of cheese. The build quality is excellent, it doesn’t feel like it going to break or bend when applying a good amount of pressure on it. It's a very solid grater. The only advise I would give besides saying you should buy this one is that you need to be very careful with it because again it’s really sharp, but that’s what you want it to be.

I’ve been using this grater for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite kitchen tools! OXO does it again! My old box grater was a space thief, difficult to clean and took forever to drain/dry. I only ever used the coarse side, so it really wasn’t earning its keep. Enter this beauty…it’s sharp and grates carrots, celery, hard cheese and dry bread crumbs with nearly zero effort/pressure. I’ve only had it for a day, but I’ve given it a workout. It also stores easily in a drawer, but I may end up keeping it in a utensil crock on my counter as the cover is quite secure. I won’t have to worry about grated fingertips as I’m reaching for other items. OXO!!

This OXO good Grips orange zester is a very good product. This product is nicely made to hold at an angle with one hand and doesn't slip while zesting the large naval orange with my other hand. I really do like that it comes with a plastic guard to cover and protect the blades. Just be very careful when zesting the orange so that you don't accidentally knick or cut your fingers/knuckles because the blades are really sharp! Also I love that it is colored a nice orange and black, it stands out. It is exactly as pictured here on Amazon. Easy to wash and clean. Not bulky. Very happy. I recommend this product to anyone who is seeking an excellent orange zester. It came in handy when trying to bake "healthy Morning Glory Muffins". (Excellent recipe!) This thing is grate! I've always had four-sided graters and never used like 2 1/2 of the sides. This one is sharp, effective and easy to hold.

This cheese grader is a huge upgrade from the last one we owned. My only gripe with it is that it's a little small. Its easy to hold, and super easy to use. I just wish they would have made it like an inch wider and longer. Then it would be perfect.

This grater from OXO is great. Shreds semi soft cheeses like Tillamook Sharp, Pepperjack, and Cabot cheeses easily. I wish we had purchase this years ago. It is easy to clean and stores nicely for us. We typically shred cheese to put on top of chili or on a tortilla. Heating the tortilla once the cheese is on top works great. Definitely something we will keep and use regularly.

I was amazed at what an upgrade this was from my old grater. To be fair, my old grater was my mother’s, so it was about 70 years old, but this OXO is light years better. A nice surprise is the tray-type area on one side. When grating with the raised sides on top, it collected the cheese shreds which I could then transfer to my dish. The whole thing worked very well, was comfortable, efficient, and easy to clean. Wish I’d bought this years ago.

Very sharp, very easy to use, perfect

What an excellent grater! We have been using this grater non stop since purchasing and couldn't recommend it enough. It is made of sturdy metal, is easy to clean using a dish brush (scrub in the direction of the holes), is very sharp (some care needed - not for young hands), and the cover is easy to snap off and on again. It stores inside our utensil drawer with ease, and we love the silicon grips which work to stop it slipping around when used on a chopping board. Highly recommend!

works great on medium cheddar. OXO makes good stuff. little more expensive than many others, but worth it . You get what you pay for.
