Raven’s Brew Coffee - Double Dead™ - Dark Roast, Naturally High Caffeine (Ground, 12 oz)

It works, surprisingly. I was skeptical of their "double the caffeine" claim, but I was actually pretty wired and able to get through my 12 hour shift without feeling tired. I drink it black and the taste is just a perfect dark. Not too bitter or harsh but a bit on the smooth mellow side. I'm a huge caffeine drinker and regularly drink energy drinks, I thought I was pretty much immune to caffeine at this point, but no just needed something stronger. This fits the bill beautifully.

I make coffee for myself and the other Technicians every morning which is usually pretty strong. I like to bring in something different every now and then (mainly on Mondays). I always war them prior too making it as to how much caffeine will be in it but this stuff was a whole different game. It's stronger than Death Wish and several others that claim to be the "worlds most caffeine" coffee. I had about 12 oz and was pretty wide open (I do drink about two cups before coming in though) -- I downed another and was on another plane of existence... This particular co-worker drank one cup and within 30 minutes believed he was having a heart attack... He was freaking out but more so "tweaking out" like he did drugs. I talked him out of it for around 30 minutes until he had me take him... He's now dead. So I guess the name lives up to it? Ok, he didn't die, he is fine. But still. Funny story, be cautious if serving to anyone sensitive to caffeine. Tastes amazing by the way. I'd say in my top 3 now. TRY IT OUT. ***EDIT*** I have tried their other brands, sad to say they smell and taste foul... which saddens me. However, Double Dead is amazing. Just stick with it. I wasted $80 getting their other types to have a very disappointing Saturday remaking coffee about 7 times...

So here is the run down. Me and my fiancee are parents to a special needs kiddo who has multiple doctors and therapies... Along with she just is a clingy kid. Also fiancee works 7 days a week between 10-16 hour days. Myself between kiddo, my aqurium hobby, cats and dogs plus taking care of a 61 one year old with dementia...we need a lot of caffiene and we need it to be tasty. So we started out with death wish coffee. Pretty good...but pricey. Cue us searching amazon. Found this stuff. So we order the name made me giggle...im like 5 and was in the death industry before my daughter. So we get it.. Its 11 pm. Im exhausted realizing i gotta go pick up the poor fool who has picked the worst mate in life. So i make a huge thermas full...30 oz...at this point im hoping to see sounds. But im banking on just not wrecking my car. So taste is pretty good. It kept me awake for what i needed. Got the fiancee. Came home and tried to sleep..caught a cat nap..and then it was over. Finished up my cup and lasted from 12:30 am until 4 am the following day. So thats close to 26ish hours. So ill say its worth it. Plus its great for sneaking fireball into it when your just at the end of your rope.

Love this coffee! Double the caffeine and taste great! The only coffee we use.

Like the flavor but not as much as Death Wish dark roast, but would buy again

We’ve been subscribing to Double Dead for years, excellent alternative to DeathWish with a smoother, tastier flavor. We are very happy (not to mention caffeinated!) campers, thank you Double Dead ☠️☕️☠️ !!!

Got this for my husband, thinking he'd like it. And sure enough, he loves it. Very bold but smooth flavor and not at all bitter. I definitely recommend trying this coffee.

The coffee is definitely strong and gives you the kick you're looking for. It has a bit of a skunky smell, though, that is off putting.
