This is one of those products that's been in my routine for a while now, and I keep coming back to it for good reason. I use it primarily for face masks when my oily skin is acting up, and it's incredibly effective at drawing out impurities and oil without completely stripping my skin. Mix it with water and a few drops of jojoba oil (or apple cider vinegar if you're feeling fancy), apply it to your face (and I have used it on my arms, too) then let it dry - but not until it's cracking - you can literally feel it working as it tightens. The pharmaceutical grade quality matters. I've tried cheaper clay powders, and they don't compare. This one is finely milled, mixes smoothly without clumps (mostly), and doesn't irritate my skin. A little goes a long way too - the container lasts forever. What I use it for: Weekly deep-cleaning face masks Spot treatments on problem areas You have to mix it well and only mix enough for one application. Other than that, it's easy and yields great results.

This clay is amazing for your skin. I like to make masks and other skincare products with it. I give them away as gifts and people love them! This is high quality clay. After using the mask my skin feels soft and is so much more clear now. After multiple uses, my skin feels like it’s glowing! There is no weird smell and honestly I like the look of the clay inside the jars. It is also at a really good price. I highly recommend trying this clay out!

High quality healing clay. Dissolve's quickly in bath water. Seems to help when dealing with body detox. So far I like this product.

I was a little hesitant to try this as some reviewers said it burned their skin. The first time I used it I put in a couple of different essential oils and let it dry completely, as I was accustomed to doing with my old go to Queen Helene in a tube. It did leave my face a little red right after but that quickly subsided. The directions say to only leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes even if it's not completely dry (in fact better if it's not, which was news to me). I've done that ever since and only use a single drop of frankincense and haven't had any redness since. The product leaves my skin delightfully soft and my pores open enough to easily express any remaining clogs. I gave it four stars because I have found it impossible to mix evenly into a smooth paste, leaving undissolved blobs of clay that look extra silly when the mask is on. Just ordered a mortar and pestle to see if I can get it smoother that way. The blobs don't effect the working of the mask, I just get enough annoying comments from husband and children when I exfoliate as it is without the blobs:)

I was using another brand, for over 10 years, but they were bought out and then that new owner immediately shut them down. Boo, lol. So I tried a few brands, looking for a worthy replacement. Some tasted off, some had a very grainy and heavy texture, none were like the silky, fine sift and neutral taste I'd love in my prior experience...until I found this. I use this at night, alongside a triphala capsule, to help with my histamine issues and mast cell activation syndrome effects. Without the triphala, it will stop me up in the morning, but together they are a match made in heaven - for me- and as we always have triphala in the house, it works! I'm sure this would also be wonderful used on the skin, hair or teeth, but for me the use it quite different, and after a year of using this clay I can HIGHLY recommend it. Bonus? The price went DOWN since a year ago - how often can you say that??
