CURT 23518 Black Trailer Hitch Lock, 5/8-Inch Pin Diameter, Fits 2-Inch Receiver

Great fit and finish that blends in well with our tow hitches. No signs of rust or fading from being outside all the time. The rubber cap can go missing fairly easy if you're not careful. These types of locks aren't unbreakable, but it does help deter theft, because rather than removing a pin without any tools and taking your hitch, a thief would at least have to commit to breaking the pin. A step many wouldn't bother doing especially in a public space. Cheap, easy to use peace of mind.

Piece functioned as it should and seems solidly built. I have a standard hitch for a 2019 Ram pickup. This is about a 3/4 of an inch too long. I saw in one of the reviews that for someone else, it was too short. I guess the thickness of the steel makes a standard two inch hitch vary that much? I paid a little extra for a name brand that looked good but it looks kind of goofy being too long. It fits the hole pretty snug so I don't think it will actually rattle around being too big. I will probably find some rubber washers to "right size" it.

Solid construction; offers both heavy duty security, while remaining slim and less bulky. Easy to lock and unlock. Blends into the rest of my trailer hitch so that it calls less attention to the area. Waterproof cap seems easy to secure, so expect less rust over time.

Great product! The weight is nice, the color, and paint are quality. Comes with 2 keys. The cap over the key hole seems a bit flimsy but i will report back to inform how long it holds up.

Tidy build, cap protecting key slot is a nice touch. Was quite easy to install and lock my hitch cover. Very secure and quiet, no rattling noted. Like they add a small silicon ring to hold the keys together and then add a key ring on top.

Fits well .. a bit difficult to lock and unlock .. would of made life easier if both pieces click and the lock doesn’t rotate

Too short for My Prado. I had to grind the ends smaller to get the length.

Arrived in clear sealed bag, without keys. One of the zip ties was replaced with a twist tie. Edit: Replacement was shipped and it arrived complete. A great locking pin for our hitch. Works well. Dust cap keeps the keyway clean.
