Very full handle.. the sheath doesn't fit any standard belt or work belt but if you flip the clip backwards the little teeth hold very securely between your belt and waistband. The sheath is directional and holds the blade very securely. Overall this is an excellent value and an overall quality tool. I wish there was an option for a sheath that fit standard western work belts, that's my only critique.

What's not to love about this chisel knife? It's sharp and sturdy, dirt cheap, and the handle is incredibly comfortable. It's made for hard work and cheap enough that it doesn't hurt at all to put it through its paces for prying, scraping, cutting, or chiseling. Very happy with this tool.

Love this Chisel tool! for this price, most chisels are garbage. this one is built to last with a heavy duty plastic handle and thick metal. Very useful for scraping, prying, removing wood in combination with a hammer, etc. The sheath is really well constructed. Overall for the price I think this is the best you can get, can't go wrong!

I bought this to see how it stacked up to the Mora Craftline Chisel. While the Mora Chisel has gone up in price recently, I assumed the two would stack up evenly. Well… The Hultafors knife isn’t a chisel. It’s a knife with a squared off tip. Meaning it as a tradition knife grind on both sides, whereas the Mora has a flat side and a ground side. For my purposes it lessens it’s usefulness in scraping and cutting along a straight edge. The handle is quit long and will accommodate large or gloved hands easily. The shape is the classic style used for filet and hunting knives for decades. The knife locks securely into the sheath and can easily be extracted using the thumb tab for leverage. The belt loop, while more secure than the Mora sheath, is a bear to remove once placed. I don’t believe it would fit around my leather belt but did well with my nylon webbing belt. The reason I deducted a star is that there was some slight damage to my knife. It had obviously been dropped onto other knives sometime after sharpening. There are two nicks in the blade and a few slices in the handle where it had impacted the blades of other knives. I understand it’s a $10 knife, but that’s an easy QC issue to prevent getting sent out. Overall if you want a life with a flat tip, this one will serve you well. It you want something with an actual chisel grind, go for the Mora.

Beat the absolute hell out of it every day and it held up for 4 months. Sharp out of the box, holds up well to abuse, and you really can’t beat the price. When it wears out just buy another. Love it.

The chisel knife, as mentioned in other reviews, is beveled on both sides so in that aspect it is more "knife" than "chisel" but it's thickness and build otherwise is more chisel. For the vast majority of people this will be a non-issue as this is not really meant for woodworking type applications where the single bevel would not be preferred. But this thing IS a little tank and sharp as all get out, too bad it probably won't get much use because of what's mentioned next... That being said, the holster stinks, it does NOT have a belt CLIP, you must route your belt through it to get it to attach (or have a button!!?? on your waist to attach it to. I hate belts and rarely wear them so a "belt clip" normally becomes a waistband clip for me and so this becomes useless. This thing is stupid sharp so it's not like you can carry it in your pocket. And if you DO use a belt, it better be pretty thin as the holster's loop area is ridiculously narrow. The upside I guess is that the holster will never come loose off your belt with this design, but that's rarely been an issue for me. A good knife ruined by a junky holster design. I bought a Mora in the same order and they did it right, too bad this knife doesn't fit in that holster (not that I want that knife to not have a holster).

Used this to free up my sash and case windows that had been painted shut. Ideal for the job.
