BACKSTORY I have been using this separation wax for 6 or 7 years now, and it's one of the best products I've ever used. I have spend hundreds of dollars on hair product over the years, trying to find something that could tame my straight, coarse, Asian hair. Short of using liberal amounts of pomade, or a strong glue (like Got2b), I found nothing that could shape my hair and provide enough hold throughout the day. Other Asian guys out there, you know exactly what I'm talking about. USAGE This separation wax requires an above-average amount of your own hair knowledge to use. First, this works best for short- to medium-length hair. My longest hairs are probably around 5 inches right now, and I use this to style a small pompadour with faded sides. To use this, I take about a nickle-sized amount of of wax and emulsify it by rubbing it around my palms for about 20-30 seconds. This is actually important to ensure the product evenly spreads throughout, and binds to, your hair. You want to apply it almost as if you're gently shampooing your hair. You want it to be even in all parts of your hair (you can add more later in areas that need focusing). Don't be rough with your hair, you don't want chunks of your hair to clump. I just tease my hair into the direction I want, and use some extra product to finish up the front. If I want the look to last a bit longer through the day, I use hairspray after. RESULTS When I use this TIGI wax, people compliment my hair all the time and comment on how soft it looks. A lot of women comment on the pleasing smell, mistaking it for cologne. It will lose its shape over the day, but you should be able to reshape it pretty easily with your dry hand. Earlier iterations of this wax used to cause some mild irritation to my skin, but it seems like they've since fixed it (or my skin has been getting tougher). In addition to tougher, it's gotten far cheaper and the containers look nicer now. Asian brethren out there, give this product a shot.

Been using Gatsby over 10 years now. Gatsby - (For people who knows how to use wax to detail their hairs out) Pros: Enable to detail out your hair. Powerful, Extreme Hold on your hair as long as you know how to use them. Cons: For Perfectionist Guys like me, Once you mess up your hair while styling it,THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN CONTROL+Z(UNDO) about. You have to go wash your hair and start again. TIGI - (For people who can satisfy about their finishes no matter what.) Pros: Light, Enable to retouch your even you messed it up while touching up. No Heavy pressures when you're using them. Cons: Need to dip them out alot to style out your hair. They are not strong enough to keep your Boner hairs down. Can't naturally looking detail out your hair with it since they are not strong enough. Both of them has good scents. If you think you're expert level using wax? go for Gatsby If you have no clue about what the Finishing Details I'm talking about, go with TIGI.

I’ve been looking for this!! I used a women’s bed head product exactly like this called Hard to Get which was discontinued-this is it packaged in a men’s product. It’s perfect for wild spiky hair separations. Happy it’s white in color because my hair is white and I never use products with color. I’ve already told my friends about it and where to get it and the deal I got for two. I’ll definitely order from this seller again

This is one of the best matte waxes that you can use for your hair. As long as you don't go too heavy, the hair will still also be soft and pliable. If you go heavier with the wax, your hair may become crunchy. Its also very easy to wash out and off your hands with just water only. Have been buying this product for almost a decade, will keep buying it. Highly recommended. I wish they would go back to their old plastic flip top container, but that's my only complaint.

Not sure if the manf. changed the formula or what, but this product used to have a crème like texture. Now it’s hard and dry. At least that’s what I got.. twice. I returned the product and the replacement.

Als ich die Neue Formel gesehen habe und die Rezensionen gelesen hab wollte ich dieses Produkt mal austesten und ich bin sehr damit zufrieden. Die Produkte die ich benutzt habe: - Tigi Bed Head Matte Separation (alte Formel) - American Crew Fiber - By Vilain Gold Digger - By Vialin Silver Fox - By Vilain Dynamite Clay - Tigi Bed Head Matte Separation (neue Formel) und mein Lieblings Produkt von diesen ist Tigi Bed Head Matte Separation die neue Formel. Zur zeit habe ich ein Kürzeren Haarschnitt, und dieses Produkt ist einfach perfekt für das was ich benötige. Die neue Formel macht das Produkt vieeeel besser. Der Geruch ist angenehmer, die Konsistenz des Produktes ist viel besser und es lässt sich einfach viel einfach auftragen. Mein Problem mit dem Alten Produkt war das es wie Kleber war und ich immer Schwierigkeiten hatte das Produkt aufzutragen, und mit dem Neuen ist es ganz sanft und einfach ins Haar zu bekommen, und der Halt passt auch für mich. Ich kann dieses Produkt nur weiter empfehlen. Für diesen preis bekommt ihr kein besseres Produkt.
