Otherwise a simple installation. Just one caution, since I used the power from a lighter, it was not a "switch" source and stayed on when you turned of the ignition. Make sure you turn off the power switch on the USB!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome Quick Charge Capable plugs for your car. *by C***W on Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2020* I got these, as my car has several cigarette lighters in it, but who uses those any more? The car charger adapter I have would sit loosely in the cig lighter, and I would constantly have to wiggle it or move it around to get it to charge my phone, and even then, it would not charge fast. I recently got a wireless fast charge capable phone mount, and with the cig lighter adapter, I could not get fast charge to work.I got these, and within a couple of hours, (due to having to take my dash apart to install it) I was up and running, providing Quick Charge power to my wireless Qi enabled charger. You can see that in the pic (screenshot).I bought two of them, as I wanted to put one in the front, in my dash, as pictured, but also put one in the back of my center console for back seat riders. Lots of kids today carry chargers with them, and giving them something to plug into eases their frustration over low battery devices...even better if it is a Fast Charger. This clicks off a percentage on my phone ever 2 minutes, which is pretty fast...I like these a lot, and will order more for my other vehicles. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Straightforward installation *by J***D on Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2020* I purchased this to replace my cigarette lighter on my 2007 Lexus GX470. The most significant challenges were related to the Lexus, not this product. I decided to run wire through the firewall directly to the battery, as I wanted it to remain on when the car is off. A couple spools of wire, an inline fuse, and some trim bars and I was ready to go. Lexus trim was a snap to get off (ugh, not pun intended) after watching a couple youtube videos. Only challenge was the threads made this unit a little larger than the hole. Nothing five minutes of 80 grit sandpaper couldn't fix. It popped right into the hole after that. Plugged it in and reassembled the console. The charger has performed as advertised. I don't use the on/off button, but it is definitely a challenge for larger fingered individuals. So far, the unit has charge Android and apple phones, ipads, and watches with ease, including on a 1200 mile road trip. I am happy with the purchase and ease of install.
