How do you remove them and will they damage the wall

I haven't remove min yet but you have to use heat with your hair dryer to remove them from the wall without damaging anything

Would I be able to hang a curtain rod with a pair of these?

They worked for me! Our door is not wood, it’s smooth and easy to stick things to, also I wiped it down really well with an alcohol wipe and let it dry before sticking the hooks. I am using lightweight tension rods and light curtains, it feels very sturdy.

What is gap between hook upright and back of hook? Would 1" curtain rod fit in the gap?

There is 1" gap exist between hook upright and back of hook, if curtain rod also is1" may not fit, it has to be little bit smaller that 1"
