I had never used this product before and was skeptical at first, but I had no choice. What a surprise—it’s full of flavor, with notes of green onions, fish, kelp, and other dried seafood. I’ll definitely buy it again if I run out.

I'm so glad to have this product. It is perfect for making some of the Korean soup pots. Extremely easy to use (vs having to create this on my own!).

Easy to use, no mess, fantastic flavor base for Korean soups. I prepared mine with squid rings, clams, and shrimp. It tastes like the sea, but not in a fishy sort of way. Be aware: the instructions are in Korean with no English translation. A single 'teabag' flavors 700-800 ml of water. Boil for 10 minutes and remove the bag. Salt brings out the favor.

my favorite korean dish to make is soft tofu stew with seafood and these are really great for the broth. i only use one pack and it gives a lot of flavor!

For those needing help with this, it is so easy. Take 800ml of water (about 27 oz.) per pack. In a pot get the water to a boil, then add the pack and turn to low boil for 10 minutes. Remove the pack, set aside. Low boil the broth for another 5-10 minutes. Pour into a mason jar and keep it in the fridge, use it as an addition for flavor enhancing soups or straight. It has a light spicy kick to it. Don't over boil it, it can make the flavor bitter or too fishy. Now you can freeze the packet and use it a second time to make another broth.

I'm all about making things from scratch but this time I really didn't want to take a tour of my local marts to gather ingredients. Excellent alternative to gathering ingredients for broth and taking the time. Taste is awesome. In a pinch have used in black bean noodles. Family reports it tastes better than a straight up chicken or vegetable broth.

Add teabag to 800 ml water boil 10 minutes and you are ready to make many Korean recipes. I use it to make, kimchi jjigae, Budae jjigae, tteokbokki, jeon batter, etc. So convenient!
