SHARPAL 208H Polishing Compound Fine Green Buffing Compound 2-Pack

I’m a knife enthusiast and hobbyist focused on sharpening and restoring blades, and I’ve been very impressed with the SHARPAL 208H polishing compound. The compound itself is high quality and produces a beautiful mirror finish when used with a buffing wheel or polishing setup. Once dialed in, the cutting and finishing performance is extremely consistent and gives professional-level results, especially on knife blades and metal restoration projects. One thing to note: the bar is fairly hard, so applying it directly to a cold buffing wheel can take a little effort. I’ve found that warming it slightly with a heat gun or hair dryer makes it much easier to transfer onto the wheel and significantly improves application. Once on the wheel, it performs exactly as you’d want. It also works exceptionally well on leather strops, loading cleanly and giving excellent edge refinement. The polish and edge clarity I’ve achieved with this compound have been outstanding. Overall, this is a serious polishing compound that delivers professional results at a great value. If you’re into knife sharpening, blade restoration, or fine metal finishing, this is an easy recommendation. Highly recommended.

Small, very small but it's partially my fault for not taking notice of the 4oz writing. Works fine and I've used it on stropping leather for planes and chisels.

Great stuff!! a must have for any true good sharpener. Great stropping compound at a great price. Super easy to use. Just rub some on your strop and get to the stropping. OR you can add it to your strop and heat it up wit hair dryer to even coat the entire strop with an even layer or compound. I find that to produce the best results (for me). Highly recommended stuff. Purchasing this leading brand in an 8 Oz. form provides the best value for a very good product. The compound was packaged well insuring that it was the proper consistency for applying it to my leather strop. It's oversized form made it easy to hold and apply making an even coat on my leather strop an easy task. My knives, chisels and plane blades were easy to make razor sharp.

Product was delivered in plastic bag, thank goodness it was undamaged. The paddle and leather strop pieces are excellently constructed, and are a perfect thickness giving the board an overall good quality. The 2 stropping compound pieces are a perfect size and should last a long time. It is very easy to use, just rub on some compound and be careful to keep the same angle as you move along the leather. It gives my knives the perfect edge. Build quality is great. Should last a long time. If you like a wicked sharp edge on your favorite pocket knife, this leather strop paddle is for you. Buy one, and be the envy of all your knife friends. I highly recommend this paddle.

Buon prodotto, relativamente economico, che svolge egregiamente il suo scopo di agente lucidante e non solo per la finitura del filo dei coltelli. Se il prodotto risultasse troppo secco, renderlo pastoso con il calore od olio minerale o anche più fluido mischiandolo a paraffina liquida e/o acquaragia (per altri usi).

Bonne consistance, grande efficacité. De quoi préparer un cuir pendant des années. Utilisation rasoir.
