Solid quality and practical design
The clothesline feels well constructed. It’s a bit longer than I would prefer, so in hotel bathrooms I often had to overlap it or zig zag to get a taught line. As a result, you can hang more laundry pieces, though. I wanted to drop a few ounces of weight and make its use more flexible, so I sawed off the sturdy plastic clamps and attached cheap Velcro closures instead. Worked perfectly for a trip to Central Asia where I had to do a lot of hotel laundering due to hot weather and physical activity.

Laundry, But Make It Adventure 🏕️👕
Not a paid review – bought this with my own money for camping (and unexpected sock emergencies). This bungee clothesline is simple but brilliant. No clothespins needed – just tuck the clothes between the braided cords and voilà, laundry secured! It stretches well and hooks onto trees, poles, or whatever’s nearby. Holds up against wind and stays put, even with heavier items. Perfect for camping, road trips, or pretending your backyard is an outdoor survival show. 10/10 would dry socks in the wild again. 🧦🌲

Perfect for backpacking & camping
Perfect for backpacking & camping! Love this clothesline - very stretchy and keeps clothes snugly in place by just pinching a small pieces of the article of clothing between the strands - no clips needed! Pros: Very stretchy and effective at keeping clothes put, lightweight, reasonably priced, durable (we stretched this thing to the max and it never snapped or stretched out) Cons: Could be a little longer - sometimes we had a tough time finding 2 trees close enough together to string this up. Plastic end clips are a little bulky, but effective and durable.

Great for travel
I took this on a recent trip to the UK. We used it several times in hotel rooms when we had hand-washed clothing. It's a pretty simple product so there's not much to say. But the clips on the end are good and sturdy, the line itself is somewhat stretchy, and it does the job. The biggest challenge is figuring out what in the hotel room you can hook the two ends on. Good product!

Well made for long term car camping
This close-line is over the top well constructed. The spiral bungee cord and clips looked pretty cheaply made in the picture, but on the advice of other reviews I decided to give it a shot. I have more than a few Coghlan's products, and the brand has been hit or miss, but I am very happy with this clothesline. So the first question is why would I need one of these. I use it for car camping, when I am going to be gone for more than a few days to keep the amount of clothes I have to bring to a minimum. If you are an occasional overnight car camper, you probably don't need one of these. But for people who spend weeks on the road, and want to make doing road laundry less of a pain this is worth it. Paracord, webbing, anything else will soak up the water, and then you will have to dry it out later, and that slows you down. This stays dry, and takes no time to set up and take down. Anything to make car camping a bit easier helps your overall mood a lot. Before I was just hanging laundry up on my hammock line, but I would end up soaking the webbing through and having to dry that out later. Sometimes if it over soaked it would run some water down and soak the ends of my hammock. I also have used paracord, but this way just saves me a bit of time tying knots. This line does not soak up water and dries easily. It also stretches way further than you would expect (see attached photo). I have this paired with my Scrubba Portable Laundry System Wash Bag , although that system has a few problems of its own. A simple dry bag would work, until someone makes a system that is truly better. I would really recommend this clothesline for anyone who does a lot of car camping.

Terrific Clothesline
We travel internationally for weeks at a time. Laundry can be a challenge not to mention time consuming and expensive. In the past I've used the Rick Steve's clothesline but have always wished it was longer. I bought this one hoping it would be a better alternative and it's perfect. I love Rick Steve's products but for less than half the price this line stretches to twice the length (a full 8 feet) and it has better clip fasteners on each end, rather than velcro. I just hung a load of laundry here in Germany and was able to get 3 women's panties, 3 men's undershorts, 3 pair of socks and a man's XL undershirt on the line. Based on some reviews we washed the line before using to ensure the yellow color didn't bleed. We use this along with the excellent washing "bag" Scrubba (no more sink sloshing) also sold on Amazon, and our travel laundry chores are neat, clean, inexpensive and efficient. Great products for independent travelers.

Bulky and heavy for true backpackers
I bought this clothesline with the intention to use on backpacking trips and for international travel. I will be sending it back and purchasing another product and here's why if you are into true backpacking: it's not light enough. The cord is too bulky and heavy for backpacking. I am looking for something thinner and lighter weight. I think someone else posted the weight in the questions section, but I have not personally weighed this. It might be more appropriate for car camping or if you don't mind the weight in your pack or space it would take up. Also, the black carabiner ends are too bulky and made of hard plastic (therefore, too heavy). I thought I could attach velcro straps onto them, but realized the bulk was too much to keep them. You also can't remove the plastic latches. And, I can't imagine trying to hook this up on a tree branch or something when I have wet clothes or gear in the backcountry. I am going to find something that is lighter weight and has velcro attachments.

Also perfekt für Rucksackreisende o. Reisende mit Handgepäck. Die Qualität und Langlebigkeit bewerte ich als sehr gut. Von mir eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung.
