Best Taffy
This is my 3rd purchase in the last year. It's great tasting and the texture is soft and chewy. Better priced than at Atwoods where I used to buy taffy that always tasted okay but was usually hard. Side note I take an opiate pain killer daily and licorice is great for keeping you regular if you aren't a prune juice drinker. I am but the taffy is much better! 😊

Yes it was Fresh!
Wife likes these very much. After reading the reviews I was little skeptical but was surprised at the quality. Taste of licorice was good and soft and chewy. Just didn’t realize how much 2.5 pounds was but I’m glad I took a chance. Would order again from this Company.

Extremely Old
This licorice saltwater taffy was so old it was as hard as rocks. Needless to say there was also no licorice flavor. I was extremely diappointed. What a rip-off!

No licorice taste, wrong color.
I purchased 5 pounds of the assorted taffy from this candy company and it was delicious so I just knew that this licorice taffy would be delicious. Unfortunately It has no licorice flavor and it isn't even black...more of a brown color than black. Needless to say I am very disappointed with this purchase. I will review again based on whether this candy maker takes care of this customer.

Harder Than It Should Be
The taffy was not rock hard but harder than it should be. It had been cold so perhaps that’s why. I will give it a little time and see if it softens up some. Flavor ok but not as good as I hoped. I wish they had sold it in a smaller size. I have a lot of taffy that I am not that crazy about.

Simply perfect
This licorice swirl taffy is delicious and fresh. Around Christmas, when I was a child, my dad would bring home licorice chews from Marshall Fields for my mom and I. I looked forward to them every year. They’re not made anymore, and I thought I’d never get to enjoy them again. One day I was given a licorice swirl taffy from Taffy Town and was instantly transported back in time to my childhood. These taste exactly like what my dad would bring us. Every bite is like a warm hug from my dad. Thank you for giving me a bit of my childhood back and for helping me keep my parents memory alive.
