URPOWER 300ml Essential Oil Diffuser: Ultrasonic Aromatherapy Diffuser Quiet Auto Shut-Off, 4 Timer Settings(1H 3H 6H ON) & 7-Color Night Light Humidifier for Yoga Bedroom Living Room Office

I purchased this URPOWER Essential Oil Diffuser along with another of the same brand, but a smaller size and capacity. This diffuser will take up to 300 milliliters of essential oil and water mix. The unit has 4 settings for operation. 60 minutes,180 minutes, 360 minutes and ON. So, you can set the unit to work whichever amount of time best suits your needs, or if you prefer, you can set it to ON and it will run until there is no more solution left, When it will turn off automatically. The unit also uses four bright LED's that give the whole case a soft glow in various colors. There are two separate control buttons. One controls the time and the other controls the light. By default the diffuser will start at 60 minutes and cycle through all the LED colors. I have discovered that some colors seem to work better with different essential oils or moods. When the color cycles around to what you want, push the "Light" button again, and it will remain that color of light. The diffuser is very quiet while it is running. All you hear is a soft hum, and occasionally it will gurgle just a little. (I don't know why) Which essential oils you use and whether you blend them or not is up to you. Each oil generates its own feelings in you according that oils properties. Here are a few things I have discovered that might help you enjoy your diffuser. The oil and water mixture seems to be most effective (and you can smell it better) if the mix is fresh. I have tried making up twice as much as I needed, thinking that I could simply turn it on the next time I wanted to diffuse some oil. This doesn't work very well. The oil I was using was Lavender. It is very strong and easily smelled. When the mixture had sat for a day inside the diffuser it was not as strong smelling and actually smelled a bit acrid. Mix up what you think you will use in one go, you will be pleased with the results. The essential oils, two things, buy pure, medical grade, organic, concentrated oils. Anything that contains chemicals used to extract the plants natural oils; definitely disappointing, as you will smell the chemical and the desired effects of using that oil are diminished. Secondly, be sure to clean the unit between uses with clean water and liquid dish soap. The oil WILL stick to the inside edges and the bottom of the tank. Pretty soon your oils start to mix and again, the experience is less satisfying. I like to dilute DAWN dish soap in a spray bottle, keep it under the sink, spray a few good sprays into the tank, rub around with a cloth or sponge, rinse, drain and dry. Be sure to pay attention to the "Drain Side" with the arrow pointing to the top. Pour the water out of that side! If you pour the water out the other side it may enter the "Air Outlet," go into the motor and that's it, ruins the unit. I learned that the hard way! You can also run clear water through the unit as a way to clean out the area where the water is atomized if you want to. URPOWER recommends that you do this BEFORE the first use anyway. This diffuser comes with a great little plastic mixing cup with markings from 20 ml. to 150 ml. Works great for mixing up the exactamount of oil/water blend that you need. The AC adapter plugs into the bottom of the unit. When you are placing the "cap" over the tank and diffuser, match the URPOWER logo and the times up. Let the "cap" fall naturally to the bottom unit and turn slightly clockwise. When you hear the click, it's firmly in place. If the "cap" isn't on tight the unit won't work, so if the plug and everything seems ok, try re-attaching the "cap." That's it! I have gotten many months now of flawless use from this diffuser. Amazon chose it as "the best" in its own tests. That's why I purchased it. Now after using it I can definitely recommed this diffuser! Thanks for reading my review. Good Luck and have fun!

Interestingly, I ordered this diffuser for my husband's office and at the same time, this pricier one Essential Oil Diffuser for Aromatherapy & Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier - BPA Free Diffuser for Essential Oils - 7 Colors & 4 Timer Settings - Auto Shut-Off - 300ml - The Essential Wellness for my own office. For all intents and purposes further confirmed after more than a week of usage - they are obviously identical machines. The more expensive one had a prettier outside box, has a different logo on it, has arrow to line up for the top and had more detailed directions - but everything about them was identical including the electrical plug and the added 150ml pouring cup. (this URPower one didn't come with the arrows to line up the cover, even though that is what is pictured on this listing). If you are considering purchasing the more expensive one, I hate to say it and "bash" the pricier one but it really is the identical diffuser once you get them out of the box and running. I wouldn't say this over a couple of dollars, but the price difference of about $14 was significant enough to capture at least my attention! I still very much appreciate the pricier one because it gave me all the details I needed and wanted throughout the listing and the delivery of it - it's listing and customer service appear to be more than likely US based. That is why I am giving a 5 star on this one because it gives so much value for the money. And also a 5 star to the other pricier one, because it had more support, more details and more helpful direction that I needed. I'm keeping both of them!! As a first time diffuser user, I am very pleased with the larger size of the reservoir at 300ml , the light options (on/off/low/high/one color/rotating colors), the misting options, the timer, the auto-off and the general look of it. No complaints with either one because they are performing identically and with reference to the pricier one, I really feel like I scored a great value on this URPower one!! P.S. they both emit the identical medium to low level "double beep" when they shut off, whenever shut off occurs either due to the timer ending or the automatic shut off when the water is completely used. This beep while sleeping or quietly enjoying the peace and calm of the diffuser almost sounds like an alarm and really ruins the moment. This seems quite contrary to the intent of the diffuser and essential oils but I don't see an obvious way to turn that off, but if that has to be, I guess I'll have to deal with it.

I purchased this diffuser because I gave my beloved smaller diffuser to my parents. I was attracted to the fact that you could direct the mist from the side vent and the 300ml capacity. Having had this for a week, I have to say I am very satisfied with this product! Pros: 300 ml capacity allows this to run for hours before refilling Side vent allows you to direct mist to certain parts of the room and away from furniture. Extremely convenient! Quiet..small drip sound is actually quite soothing Color changing lights, and ability to pick out certain light colors nice feature. Ability to shut color off if too bright Mist is strong!!!! After using my 100ml diffuser by a different brand, I was pleasantly surprised by this one! Yes, sitting near it....I would say it can act as a humidifier. (I'm a nurse, I should know about humidifiers!) Works well with all my essential oils Cons: Appearance is not as modern....maybe not as elegant as others. But I would say I would pick functionality over appearance. Some of the more sleeker models I researched seemed to have some design issues. I did not have the same problems of getting the top off as other reviewers. After getting used to it, it is really quite an easy twist off. In all, I would say this seems to be a very sturdy, extremely functional diffuser. And having 3 small kids around, they haven't tipped it over once....pleasantly surprised! So impressed...I am going to purchase the 500ml version for a bigger room.

excellent diffuser. works great

I am still somewhat of a beginner when it comes to essential oils. I began using them topically and ingesting about six months ago and the benefits have been amazing, so it made perfect sense to try using them in a diffuser. I bought my first one at Walmart and although I am happy with it, this one is so much better! What I love the most about this one is that it holds enough water to run for about 8 hours making it perfect for the bedroom. I set it up at night before I go to bed and it's still running when I wake up in the morning. It can also be set on a timer if you prefer. It's very simple looking without the lights on, it almost looks like a white candle, so it fits with any style decor. The lights are almost always on for me though! I find them very soothing. It has several colors that glow both bright and dim. You can set the lights to either continuously run through all the colors, both bright and dim. Or if you like a certain color, you can set it to stay on that one color. You can even turn just the lights on without running the mist. I absolutely love this diffuser, I need to get a couple more to leave in multiple rooms. The aromatherapy is wonderful, it's soothing and relaxing, it melts my stress away! I paid full price for my diffuser (which was less then the store bought one that only runs for 4 hours), and it was worth every penny! If you've never used essential oils before, this is a great place to start.

Mister Works great! Though I couldn't figure out how to turn it on!!! You have to LONG press the on button to make it work. No where in th instructions does it say this. I almost sent it back thinking it was defective! Fyi. The scent in the room isn't much of a scent. I will use a few more oil drops and see if that helps. 3-4 drops is NOT scenting the room AT ALL. And it's a VERY small room. My last diffuser really scented the room. This doesn't offer even a subtle scent. Again, only using 3 to 4 drops. The mister works great though.

Unit works well but definitely has some issues. First, the device was previously manufactured with a groove (shown on one photo) and pin latching but was removed because too many buyers complained that the cover was too difficult to unlatch. Unfortunately, now the cover is too susceptible to movement from being accidentally bumped or rubbed against. This can easily cause a misalignment of the arrows which causes the output port (open slot in photo) to misalign with the nebulizer (half moon shape in photo). For me, this caused the unit to shut off and water to leak out the base. Which brings me to the second issue. The power adapter connector gets plugged into the bottom of the unit. If the unit is placed somewhere that can accumulate water, there is a risk of a tripped breaker or blown fuse or worse, electrocution. I've actually considered trying to somehow attach a pin to make the latch functional. The unit has multiple colors. As shown in the video, one push of the light button sets the colors to continuously change. A second press locks in the current color. Subsequent presses rotate through light and dark hues of red, green, yellow, blue, purple, pink, and white. I use essential oils added to water that I keep in a jar. Before adding water to the device I thoroughly shake the jar to "blend" the oil and water. This seems to give a stronger scent and less residue inside the unit when empty. I accidently added water to above the fill line several times. A little above had no issues but a little too much resulted in less vapor until the level dropped. Way too much over will result in leakage. The timer has 4 settings: 60 minutes, 180 minutes, 360 minutes, and "On." The "On" setting runs the unit until the liquids are gone after which the unit shuts off (including the light). I usually get 8-9 hours using the "On" setting with the liquid at the fill line. I'd like to rate the unit higher but the lack of a latch coupled with an easily rotating cover makes misalignment an issue. Also, the power supply should either be hard wired or the connection on the unit moved or intrinsically protected against water.

This is a great little diffuser for the money. I decided to go with the URPOWER 2nd Gen 300ml because it seemed to hold the most volume compared with others in this price range. Although, after experimenting for a bit, I find that most times I don't fill it all the way. I have found that when it is full, the mist comes out slower. It does last a long time that way...maybe 8-9 hours. When I do just one pitcher full (150 ml), then the mist comes out stronger and it lasts about 3 hours. My main objective is to get the essential oils in the air, then move it around the house to other rooms. So far I've used four different essential oils, all from NOW. I've been using Tea Tree and Eucalyptus combined because I heard it can help kill airborne viruses, and I've been a bit concerned about this flu season. I find that combination also relieves stuffy noses. I've also tried Lavender (calming/sleep), and Lemon (disinfectant/uplifting). Most of the time I use 6-8 drops total for 150 ml. The light feature is nice for setting different moods, and also is nice as a night light. I haven't noticed any dampness where I'm using it. The opening is at the top on the edge, and you can aim it in different directions by simply turning the unit around. The cord is a bit short, but that can be remedied by using an extension cord when needed. Very pleased with product, and I may be getting one or two more so I don't have to move this one around the house so much.

It's a awesome diffuser, thick stream of mist and it shoots the mist higher than my brand name one. Love the colours on it. I bought this in 2017, it is now 2023 and this diffuser is going stronger than ever… I’ve used it so much the letters and words are worn off of it. Every other brand name diffuser has cratered. This one lasts the whole night and never has to be tempermantly cleaned like the others. Don’t waste your money on other types… this is the ultimate!! The only down side.. when I bought it in 2017, it was probably $40, now it’s a lot more.. but so worth the money. So little maintenance, and lasts for so long, and the performance has never changed in the 6 years, running every night, all through the night.

Feels cheep. Flimsy construction and very noisy during operation. Very disappointed.

No issues with this unit at all! Easy to fill and easy to use. The lid isn’t as bad as others are reporting, it can be removed and put back on easily without having to pick the whole thing up. Love the different time settings and it puts out a lot of vapor.
