SUNPIE Halo 5-3/4 5.75 Inch Head light Motorcycle Compatible with Sportster XL883 XL1200

This light looks and works extremely well. It went on my Harley and it took me about 3 minutes to install. The halo is cool looking and backgrounds matching the chrome. It's bright enough for me it's been holding up quite well, I ride in all weather and no condensation so far. Good value and Im happy with it.

I purchased this light to see what I though of this style of headlight before spending the money on the Harley brand one. Needless to say I ended up enjoying it and plan on using it for a while to see how it holds but before getting the official one. It’s easy to install with a Phillips screwdriver and some cloths, one installed it looks fantastic. The halo ring really pops out putting the day and night. At night the light lights up the road evenly and for a good distance of your headlight is adjusted correctly. The high beam basically adds more light to where the low beam doesn’t shine very well. Over all I think it’s safer than the factory bulb and gets you noticed a lot easier! We’ll see how long it lasts! UPDATE: about 8 months later and it started throwing trouble codes. “Headlight low beam shorted” “headlight high beam shorted” I contacted the company and told them the issue, I suspect the resistor to trick the ecm into thinking there’s a halogen build installed went bad. If you don’t have that resistors the low resistance of the LED lights will trigger trouble codes. Anyway after I emailed them they emailed right back, I sent over a screenshot of the codes and they sent a replacement writhing a couple days! Will for sure recommend this company for their customer service. I figure I just got a lemon and am curious to see how long the second one lasts.

So far this light has been great. I’ve now run this through all types of weather, scorching sun, cold darkness, light rains and absolute downpours. It has held up and is extremely bright. There is no humming or buzzing like some LEDs cause. It fits like a clove in the factory housing and in the aftermarket housing I switched to when I did the eyebrow delete on my XL1200. No splicing was required it was a direct plug and play on my Harley. I’m extremely satisfied and would order again for my next bike if it doesn’t come with an LED from the factory

I Bought this for my 2003 883 sportster. The light ended up being loose in the casing but easy to install. I covered it in electrical tape and it did the trick. The brightness is incredible especially for the cheap price and I have skeptical at first.

Headlight looks great and is way brighter than stock. Like others said, getting it to fit in the enclosure was the hardest part. The backing is different than on the stock headlight so you’ll have to mess around a little before you find the perfect spot for the connectors to fit. Very snug. It’s been five days with moderate rain and no fogging.

Light is very nice, and feels like quality in your hand. Doesn’t feel cheap. There’s a thing ring on the inside of the old bulb when you take it out, make sure you transfer that to the new bulb when installing. Like others say. Some slight fitting may be required. I used simple one inch door seal strip, some use the foam that comes in the box to protect the product. Either way total install time was about 5 minutes. If that, highly recommend this, much brighter and better looking than the OEM setup. 2004 sportster 1200xl custom

***2nd Update. I received the replacement head light a few days ago. I've been running it for the last few days. It's working just fine and I am very happy with it. I am more impressed with SUNPIE's customer service. I chalked this up as a loss and I was not expecting them to take care of the situation. I would would purchase from them again and again knowing they back their products. ***UPDATE-SUNPIE is sending me a new headlight. I appreciate they took the time to reach out to me. I was not expecting them to. In hindsight, I should have reached out to them rather them reaching out to me after viewing my review. I'm impressed with their customer service. I'm changing my rating to 4 stars because good customer service or any customer service is hard to come by. I will change it to 5 stars after installing and everything works. I installed this headlight last night. Easy install and everything worked. Today the halo light does not work. Fortunately the other lights do work, so it's usable. I would return it, but today was trash day and I threw away the old headlight. So I will keep it, but I can't give it a good review.

***UPDATE: Something came loose inside and started messing with my electrics. Traced the issue back to my new LED bulb I should be vlear that I take my sporty camping and go where other harley's dare not go, so if you stick to the pavement you may be fine OG review*** Works great, way better than my old incandescent As others have mentioned, a bit of a tight squeeze to fit it in with all the connectors and stuff in the headlight, but it is possible! With some persistance it mounted into my 96 Sportster 883 just fine

Have used item for several months now on my Harley Softail and it works well. The unit has a large heat-sink that takes up a lot of space, requiring some tweaking and patience to install. But it is far superior to the original halogen unit and IMO suits the bike.

Great upgrade to original on my Harley Street Rod. Took under an hour from removal to finish. The only real tricky part was getting the outer ring even all the way around when replacing the clips.

Light works well, nice & bright. Only wish I could have just the halo on until I turn the low beams on.. but that is an issue with the bike not the light. I would recommend it.
