On The Double

I loved this film in spite of the ridiculous so called British accents from the American actors. Danny Kaye very versatile and very funny. A silly farce but likeable all the same. A brief appearance of Diana Does changing from a frump to a glamour girl by taking off her glasses and letting her hair down!!

Excellent old-fashioned comedy that had me in stitches! Danny Kaye is such a good mimic. Good story as well.

When I was a kid I saw On the Double with Danny Kaye in the cinema. To see it again on dvd was great. It is even more funny than I remember. Danny Kaye as the coward who has to play a brave and bold officer is hilarious. The quality is in top. I warmly recommend it.
